How do you reconcile your admiration of Kerry with the fact that she has been fully supportive of the McCanns' campaign for the last 8 years (well up until the last 48 hours anyway)?

Why do you keep putting words in my mouth when I have twice now asked you what evidence you have seen personally of McCann supporters abusing Kerry Needham?  I am not saying she is being dishonest but I do find her accusation rather puzzling as I personally cannot recall seeing any online abuse directed towards her from McCann supporters, though I am aware of some nasty comments made about her from one or two "sceptics".

I have already answered your question tonight twice - are you unclear of the meaning of the words "no" and "I am not saying she's being dishonest"?

Perhaps the poor woman is the victim of a secret massive campaign of slander by McCann supporters that I was hitherto unaware of.  That being the case she has my sincerest sympathies.

How much slanderous abuse have you witnessed from McCann supporters about Kerry Needham?  I can't recall ever hearing any, but as slander is spoken perhaps armies of McCann supporters have been stalking Kerry and abusing her face to face, though that really doesn't sound very plausible to me...

Yes, maybe she did mean that.  Presumably it was sent to her privately though as I have not witnessed much (if any) directed at her on social media from McCann supporters.  Very odd.

People must understand that there is a subtle difference between the way facebook and twitter operate.
   
Facebook is a page with comments which can be controlled by the account owner.  The McCanns therefore are able to manipulate their facebook page in order to show only those comments which are supportive towards them.

Users on Twitter on the other hand do not have the ability to remove posts which attach to threads. On twitter a user can only delete or remove his or her own post. The McCanns therefore could not remove posts which criticised them, even if an account was blocked a post could still be attached to @findmadeleine.

Kerry has her £700,000 allocated to search for Ben. Without the precedent of the McCann funding, what do you think her chances would have been of getting anything? Successive PM's ignored her so she has no reason to feel hard done by right now. I think she would be disturbed to see anti-McCann posting on HER sites distracting from the search for Ben. As Angelo said, she can't control twitter so she can't stop the idiots who just want to cause problems for the McCanns.
