Doing his job is one thing,  writing a book saying the McCann's hid Madeleine's body and staged an abduction is another.

I'm sure the mccanns expected the appeal....how has he funded his legal fight so far...he obviously has access to funds

The documents for the appeals are being sent up to the higher court on Wednesday, nothing more. It does not mean that the judges are going to start studying them right away. It should be some months before we get a decision.

He was going to appeal he said so,  that was before the money was raised.
