Precisely. No relation to this case at all.

Unless someone is suggesting one of the mccanns has been hiding Madeleine all this time.  8**8:/:

It is highlighting the fact that children can be hidden away for 13 years without being found,  all this father did was change the boys surname.

The schools should keep an eye on the missing persons list,  it would have had a picture of him,  he could have been found sooner.

It also keeps hope alive for Madeleine as she too could be going to school undetected.

The thing that struck me was that some little girls who were mistaken for Madeleine had a similar eye defect.  I think one or two looked so like her that they were eliminated by DNA tests.

There is no reason to suppose that the person who stole Madeleine might not have made use of that information.

For example, falsifying results and speaking to the education authorities as a concerned parent whose child was always being mistaken for Madeleine which caused distress.  The school in which the child was enrolled would then be in a position of trust and would protect the child ~ and thus the abductor ~ from all enquiries.

I am not saying this did happen ... but it is a way of getting round the eye defect, which apparently might be less noticeable as she ages, with minimum effort.  Madeleine could therefore be hidden in full view.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Could well Brietta, nothing can be ruled out.

The thing is this boy was living for 13 years without being detected even though he was on the missing children register,   makes you wonder if any of the schools check this register.

But then again the boy wasn't the most famous missing child in history, was he ?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are places where Madeleine has been forgotten.

To us she isn't as we have taken an extra interest in the case,  but to those who haven't then, they carry on with their lives and Madeleine is left behind.

It is only when things such as this boy being found that triggers memories and that is why it is good that this story has been high lighted and Madeleine mentioned.

Anything is possible,   she may be dead she may not be.   Madeleine could be found alive there is no way of telling,   I hope she is.

When the McCann's say there is no evidence that Madeleine has come to harm,  in my opinion they are saying that there is no evidence that she is dead.

I can't see any evidence that she is dead either,  so I agree with what they are saying.

Really ? Not three days ago we had the non-story of the German paedophile which was picked up by many different newspapers in many different countries. To link this boy with Madeleine's case is opportunistic  nonsense.

Nonsense,  because the police wanted to know whether he had been in Portugal when Madeleine went missing?

I don't call that nonsense,  he lured a small child away and murdered him and it wasn't the first,   it is good to know the police are checking out every possibility.

If it's true, and I suspect it isn't, it means SY are truly clutching at straws and if I was a supporter I would be furious that after ten million pounds and over four years they still seem no nearer to finding Madeleine than they did when given their remit.

There is no evidence of that apart from a newspaper article saying the newspaper reporter expected the MPS to contact the German police.

I wouldn't call the reporting of a child abduction and murder a non-story, does it only become a story of interest if the name Madeleine McCann isn't mentioned, in your view?

Gibberish.

Of course she came to harm.

She disappeared from the apartment, CAUSE UNDETERMINED.

I don't see any supporters furious with SY...I don't see anyone furious with SY ...and I don't see why anyone should be furious with SY

Well it seems to me they know what happened to Madeleine but don't know who took her.

Your comment that they are no nearer finding Madeleine is guess work,   they are concentrating on certain paths now that they have made their way through all the paper work.

Ten million is not such a huge amount when you consider how much other missing children investigations have cost.    It is a cold case and they always take longer.
