We have all discovered to date that we haven't a clue as to what the current teams have found.  Which is as it should be.  The fact they continue to investigate shows there is something still to be investigated.
They do not operate in a vacuum.  They have to justify expenditure.  As long as they continue looking in my opinion means there is justification to do so.

If they had found what happened to Madeleine, it would be very clear cut.

The mere fact that they still request help from people contacting them says everything.

They literally and metaphorically don't have a clue.

No matter what you type the facts remain.

In your own words Stephen:-

''After all, you are not privy to the investigation, so you wouldn't have a clue viz a viz, what is now going on.''
The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

I have ruled out Maddie being the victim of murder by her parents.......every sane person would agree with me...that proves certain scenarios can be ruled out ..fact

Did anyone really expect there to be any?
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

Your views are irrelevant, however, the facts I listed remain , no matter your propaganda.

There aren't any.

You are consistently critical of Operation Grange.

How would you judge the investigation by the PJ, coordinated by G Amaral?

Have they found Madeleine ?

You and your fellows can type what you wish.

Madeleine has not been found and the investigation is at a dead end.
