#600 I am aware that the drugs lovingly caressed by the Levy camera lens were Mr Healey's.

From your post. How was it Levy's camera?

Does that say "Levy was there"??

How did Levy get his hands on the video copyright ... any ideas?
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Where? Thats the impression you gave when you typed

"I am aware that the drugs lovingly caressed by the Levy camera lens "

"If Levy was not filming the police investigation ... why did he apparently 'own' the copyright to the videos?"

As for Grime, wrong, he was not a contractor to a foreign police force...he was a serving uk police officer at the time . Neither did he "band about" anything...if he had "banded about" the PDL dog videos they would have been in the papers or elsewhere months and months before the case archiving. I am fairly positive he mayl have signed something limiting his usage of said recordings and as a seasoned professional, and working closey on the case with Harrison, that may not even have been necessary!

Stop all the hyperbole and outrage and lets get back on topic, sorry GU

As we still don't know who settled the bill for the cadaver dogs, we have no idea who Grime was contracted to or the terms of that contract.

South Yorkshire Police sent him there, whost he was still employed by them, there is no reason to thnk they didnt get paid

I can't think that Grime would have given his own, home, address as his base if SYP sent him.

Nor can I think that SYP would have deployed two dogs and one handler.

In the second enquiry, we saw two dogs deployed and two handlers ....

Please do not quote me out of context.

Martin Grime was contracted to work in Jersey. To get the job he showed a video of his dogs working in Praia da Luz on an active Portuguese case to a British police officer.

The case was active ... three arguidos had not yet been cleared ... the video was evidence ... the secrecy law was well and truly breached.

The fact that the prolonged shots of Mr Healey's medication seemed important to someone shows that drugs were not out of the equation.  Making it so much more of a pity the PJ didn't bother checking the twins when it mattered.

I didnt consider jersey a foreign force so my apologies then

As for failing to test the kids the mccanns had 4 months to do it in portugal but they didnt bother either....considering how proactive they  were from the very night and on in all aspects of the case, was rather amiss...trying to raise the shutters before police got there is an example...why was that necessary and in so doing tampering with evidence? Exactly what difference would that have made to anything? at all

The McCann's get their twins tested as soon as they get back to the UK.    Now taking in the fact that they are intelligent people,   there must have been a good reason why they were not tested in Portugal,   the McCann's obviously wanted them to be as they had them tested when they got back.

Calpol works differently on different children. It makes some of them sleep but doesn't do it on others. Calpol Night does (or did), so not that far out.

Calpol is given for high temperature and pain,   if a child sleeps after being given Calpol,  I can only imagine it is because the child has been unable to sleep due to being in pain eg teething,  or fever.    Once the Calpol gets to work and eliminates the pain etc.  the child is able to sleep.

Bang-on right.

Key point: calpol has NO sedative effect ...

The results didn't rule out the possibility that the twins had been sedated in early May, so a wasted expense imo.

Absolutely right and no reason for a cover-up if used. That doesn't of course mean that something else wasn't used.

I'm sure they had an excellent reason Lace.
