I can't think that Grime would have given his own, home, address as his base if SYP sent him.

Nor can I think that SYP would have deployed two dogs and one handler.

In the second enquiry, we saw two dogs deployed and two handlers ....

Those dogs were deployed at the same time because they did the same job. Eddie and Keela weren't deployed at the same time because they did different jobs for Martin Grime. Eddie and Frankie were deployed together with two handlers because they worked together and did the same job. Get it?
Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

What?

Both dogs were trained to find blood.

One (in addition) was trained to find cadaver odour.

And it tends to be a characteristic of all dogs that they will show loyalty to a master, who can manipulate that loyalty.

Of course, reputable dog-handlers will strive to minimise that bias ...

And one (objective) measure intended to minimise that bias is a regulation (usually applied!) that one handler may not handle more than one dog at the same crime-scene ....

How so ?

It is obvious something was used.

I know what you meant.  And so do you.  Don't do it again, please.  This is not the first time.

Oh dear. All cadaver dogs can alert to blood. Keela alerted to blood ONLY. Keela CSI Eddie EVRD. Not the same.

I suppose you think Madeleine was taken somewhere dead in the Renault Scenic?

Or that Eddie "smelt death" on cuddle-cat?

Unfortunately I can't cite a reference, but this was a point researched by a friend I regard as reliable, and all the empirical evidence (as well as common sense) stacks up ....

Is this 1 handler 1 dog 'rule' one that might only apply to police dog handlers.    I still find it strange that all other UK dog handlers conducted their searches in uniform when on duty in PT  - but Martin Grime was always in civilian clothing - as well as having 2 dogs.

The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

Unless you or Benice can provide an official cite for your claim then you are not bang on anything.

Not sure why you think Grime should have been wearing a uniform.

Are you claiming that Harrison knowingly let Grime lie to the PJ about his status as serving police officer ?
