Are you claiming that Harrison knowingly let Grime lie to the PJ about his status as serving police officer ?

Where did Harrison say anything about Grime's status?

I know Harrison said plenty about the so-called "enhanced" victim recovery dog.

But I don't know that he mentioned Grime at all, did he?

And he said something about a separate report by the dog handler, but again, no reference to Grime's status (that I'm aware of).

That's it.  Enough of The Dogs.  This is not a Dog Thread.

Apologies ....

No need to apologise, if it was even you who started it.  I can't remember.

But back on topic now, please.

There can be no doubt that if the twins had been tested straight away, the erroneousness of (yet another!) stick to beat the McCanns with would have been buried before it ever saw light of day.

To that extent, the fact that the twins were not immediately tested is to be regretted ....

There is no evidence to suggest the PJ suspected sedation of the twins and even if they did, the tests could have been positive if done immediately. As the McCanns are the only ones whose concern is documented, the question remains why they did nothing about it on 4th May.

One thing this thread has thrown up G is that it would appear that  the supporters have even less concern for the welfare of the twins than they seem to have for Madeleine's !

Within weeks of the abduction, the McCanns raised a question of whether sedatives might have been used.

Much later, the McCanns were accused drugging all three children ...

But not the night of the 3rd when it really mattered, when the twins wellbeing hung in the balance.

Long after the well-being of the twins was established, the McCanns were accused of drugging (all 3!) children.

i really don't understand how the McCanns could play so fast and loose with their children's wellbeing. There is absolutely no innocent explanation for it.

Quite so. They would like to blame the PJ for not testing the twins, but can't come up with any evidence that the PJ suspected they had been sedated. They can only refer to Amaral's book, which is otherwise 'full of lies'. Why do they believe what he says about the twins, but nothing else he said?

On the other hand we have a mother who was 'very concerned' about her children. She said so, and said her husband was concerned also. Her friend, an eye witness, attested to her concern about them too. So the two people who knew that the twins sleep was not typical of them chose to ignore it, just as they ignored Madeleine
when she said the twins cried the night before. 'Where were you'?

Within weeks? Who to? What abduction? I think the official term is disappearance.

i do believe when GA said it was a mistake ......he meant .....it could have been a golden opportunity ...to prove who had done it if they had been drugged
