There you go again. Now you're contradicting the woman herself who said they were both concerned. There is no evidence she asked the PJ to test the twins. There is no evidence anyone told Amaral at the time. Another nice little story which cannot be verified. Why should anyone accept your opinions as a true record of what happened?

I am not contradicting anyone,   Fiona said it was weird the twins didn't wake up she didn't say she was concerned that they had been drugged.

Another nice little story that you say Kate DIDN'T ask the police for the twins to be checked for drugs,  why should anyone accept your opinions as a true record of what happened,  when it is a well known fact that Amaral knew the twins slept through the commotion,   and he could only have known that from someone who saw them do that,  such as Kate or the officer at the scene.

This is the whole quote from Fiona's rogatory inteview :

'
'No, and that was the other thing, she kept going into the twins, she kept putting her hands on the twins to check they were breathing, she was very much concerned in checking that they were okay. But they were okay, I mean, they were fine, they didn't, they were asleep, but at the time it did seem weird, I remember thinking, you know, when the Police came they turned the lights on, there was loads of noise, obviously from the moment Kate discovered that Madeleine was gone, the screaming and the shouting and there was a lot of noise and they, they didn't, you know, so much as blink'.

So it 'seemed weird ' but as a doctor she did nothing either. That's what's really weird.

Fiona also says that they were fine,   she didn't have any reason to think they had been drugged,  unlike Kate who was remembering the stain on Madeleine's pyjama's.

The two GNR officers couldn't understand why the twins slept peacefully while both parents lay prostrate wailing on the bed an hour after Maddie was discovered missing.  Strange since we're always told that trained medics remain calm in the face of the worst disasters but then they both had been wining and dining.

You said only Kate was concerned. Kate herself says both she and her husband were concerned, so that's your opinion scuppered. I never said Kate didn't ask for the twins to be checked, I said there's no evidence that she did so. There is no evidence that Amaral knew at the time that the twins slept through the commotion. Both he and Kate McCann are speaking with hindsight in their books, so their books can't be seen as a definitive account of what happened on 3rd May. For that, we have only the official files and statements.

I would be wailing on the bed if I had to traffic cops turn up if my child went missing,  they were despairing,  helpless,   I find your attitude quite baffling.

Trained medics stay calm,  but not in the case of a child of their own going missing,   try and find a case where a medic has had their child go missing and see what that persons reaction was.

In my opinion Kate and Gerry spoke about the twins later in the evening and they were both concerned that the twins may have been drugged.   Gerry was in and out of the apartment when Kate was checking on the twins.

How is there no evidence that Amaral knew at the time that the twins slept through the commotion?   He was kept up with information he says that in his book.   He is not speaking in hindsight in his book he is saying what he thought at the time of the investigation,  and if he was thinking of testing the twins then he knew they had slept through the commotion,  and the only way he would know was through the PJ telling him.

so Kate was concerned enough to keep checking on them and Gerry was also concerned later but THEY STILL DID NOTHING. They even went out and left them for an hour or so later on in the early morning.

I'm pleased you have found something you think is truthful in Amaral's book. Perhaps he was telling the truth all the way through it? For me, the truth is in the files where no mention of sedation of the twins or of testing them is made until Paiva mentions what Kate said..

In my opinion,  the twins were ok they Kate says they each had one of them lying on their chest when they tried to rest,  so obviously they were alright.

They were normal in the morning,   do you think they would have left them if they didn't think they weren't?

Not mentioned in the files,  but mentioned in the statement by one of the Police Officers who was at the scene,  strange that.

I thought Kate sat staring into the night until it was light enough to go out? I believe Gerry snoozed with a twin on his chest according to the book. Does that make the child OK? By what criteria? I think they were asleep when the parents left them in the morning, so no change. The police officer confirmed. when asked months later, that the twins didn't wake up. Dianne Webster also thought it was strange that the twins slept through everything, but no mention of any discussions taking place or of anyone voicing their concerns or of any twins on any chests;

”Err well eventually err the twins were brought up into our apartment err and that again to me was err a very odd thing because they were fast asleep, they did not wake up.”

4078    ”Were they brought up, so had they been taken out of their cots and brought up?”
Reply    ”Yeah, yeah. They were being carried, I think Fiona and Dave carried them up.”

4078    ”And they were still not awake?”
Reply    ”Still not awake, and the cots were, because they were travel cots they brought up, you know and err put in the living room and they were put into the cots and they just carried on sleeping.”

”Yeah well at that point Kate and Gerry came up as well and err because the Police had decided to close off the apartment, bit late in the day but you know, they came up and what we did we got the, there was mattresses on the spare beds in the room where Lily was sleeping so we got them and put them on the floor in the lounge beside the twins so that they could rest, if not sleep, err but by this time it must have been about half past four, five o’ clock in the morning.”
4078    “Yeah, and the night when they were sleeping, did anybody try to wake them? Other than it being noisy and they were moved.”
Reply    “No, no I mean err when they, when they were brought up to our apartment err they had a sort of blanket over them and they were asleep on err I think it was David and Fiona that carried them up and they were just sleeping on their shoulder and obviously didn’t want to wake them up because the cots were being brought up and they were put, put, but you know my, my feeling is that they, I think a child normally would haven woken up under the circumstances.”
