Outside of forums, in the physical world, I've heard people discussing the case, they 100% assume live abduction by stranger, and are completely unaware of the UK dogs.

PR works, it works extremely well.

SO  you think they have spent 12 mill investigating in portugal and not even looked at the parents...I  would say that is ridiculous

Some assume they have. I have seen nothing which supports that belief. Perhaps one day they will clarify the situation. You are not the only one you sees it as ridiculous, believe me.

I will have to disagree with you on that. From my experience people do know about the case, and most believe Madeleine is dead. Only one person I know of thinks an abduction happened.

Some people need to realize that others can come to the same conclusion themselves by reading about the case.

For a reference point on another matter, it was 49, now 59.

Maybe they are being polite?  If in RL you parrot "No evidence of abduction" as often as you do here, I would not be a bit surprised.   8(0(*

I hate to say it, but to pursue the woke and wandered theory SY would have to completely discount the dog alerts. No matter what people want to believe, that's a sticking point. It's probably why Redwood mentioned the fact that she may not have left the apartment alive. Unless anyone can think of any other reason why he might think she died within the apartment. The burglar theory is a non starter really. Very few burglars kill, they run away if they can like Mrs Fenn's intruder.
In my opinion the Met have completely discounted the dog alerts.

No JP.

I let them read the files.

You really don't get it, that people think the abduction is made up drivel ?

Yet Redwood said Madeleine may not have left the apartment alive.

When they were following the burglary gone wrong theory that is.
