Your "points" are all non-points IMO. You seem to be expecting Kate to criticise Matt in her book for not standing over reception whilst simultaneously berating them until they called the police. Well she didn't so address your perplexing points to her. In the meantime It was you who made the claim that the group cared more about roadblocks and closing ports than calling the police and it is that comment which I'm challenging. If you don't like the question you can always ignore it, that's what most people seem to do when I ask questions they cannot or don't want to answer.
I am aware of the way your opinion works, and I gave up on influencing your opinion months ago.
I am more interested in influencing others on the forum.
They can, and will, make up their own minds about whether Gerry telling Matt to phone was appropriate or not. As in, why didn't Gerry do this himself? And did Gerry ever tell Matt to do this, or was it Jane?
They can, and will, make up their own minds about why Gerry supposedly went to the Mini Club, but seemingly did not emphasise the need to call, or even check if a call had been made.
They can, and will, make up their own minds about whether roadblocks and border controls loomed larger than the simple need to get police on site.
I have made up mine. It is up to others to make their own evaluation.
