It's ironic that Kate turned to Fiona & mentions that they left the door unlocked for Madeleine & wondered if it was safe. Then, as fate would happen, gangs of child abducting predatory paedophiles happened to be operating in the area that same night. Having never operated there before, or since. What an unfortunate coincidence.

Jez wasn't sure exactly what time he spoke to Gerry. He placed the time as being somewhere between 9:45 & 10:15 & that he only spoke to Gerry for a couple of minutes.

All the timings are estimates VS. But, Gerry was gone from the table for a long enough period that Jane noticed & commented on it. So, there was time for him to have moved object away from the apartment. It isn't complicated.

It depends where this place is that you think he removed the body to.  For example he couldn?t have removed it to the next town because he didn?t have a car. So where exactly is he supposed to have hidden this body and why did he need to move it twice?

Ok. So given that all the timings are estimates, how do you suppose the MET were able to ascertain with 100% certainty that Gerry was sat at the tapas table at the time of the Smith sighting?

He couldn't occult her earlier in the day. It was light. And he couldn't be away from the tapas table, his alibi, for too long, as other guests would notice. As it happens, Jane did notice. And you always use the word 'parade' even though Smithman lowered his head & signalled that he did not wish to speak. That is not parading. He didn't march down the street with a brass band behind him, shoving his dead daughter in the face of passers by.

The only people searching immediately after the alarm was raised were Gerry, David, Russell , Matt & Fiona. No one had been to reception at that point. Matt didn't go to reception until around 10:10 according to him, after Fiona sent him. So, the whole town & OC staff were not out looking for Madeleine immediately after the alarm was raised. Nobody but the tapas friends knew Madeleine was missing.

If we accept Gerry left at 9:00, it's impossible to know the precise times, but he leaves around 9pm. 1 minute to walk to the apartment. 2 or 3 mins talking to Jez & 1 minute to return to the table. So, Gerry was inside the apartment for around 10 minutes. That's enough time to remove object from apartment 5a & carry it to a location in the direction of the Smith sighting. Secrete it, & then return to 5a.

It was low season. The Smiths didn't encounter anyone else on their way home, other than Gerry.
But, if it's too risky to be seen, then it was also too risky to carry out a child abduction. So by your logic, that couldn't have happened either.
