Yes the Portuguese police were absolutely crap and negligent in their duties in this case, it?s a well established fact.
It certainly seems so, Vertigo!

Yep. They should have arrested the McCanns and taken them into custody immediately for child neglect firstly.

What shouldn't be forgotten is that the McCanns made no effort at all to actually contact the police in the first place. It was over forty minutes before Gerry bothered to turn up at reception. I wonder why that Was? Actually I don't. It's because there was no abduction, Madeleine was dead & Gerry was seen by the Smiths.

As far as anti Muslim terror attacks go it's a pretty lame one really. No fatalities. Was he even trying?
No, the fatality score in the UK remains : 1 Muslim killed by the far right. Over 100 non Muslims killed by Muslims.

I've just seen the picture. He had a rather large knife, & yet.....

Police said that five men, two aged 22, and others aged 24, 27, and 39, sustained a range of injuries. Three needed hospital treatment, although none of the injuries are life-threatening.

So, no, he really wasn't trying very hard at all. Certainly not as hard as the immigrant in Belfast who blinded a disabled man the other week.

Presumably you would have liked him to have tried harder though?  Isn?t this where the ultimate outcome of  your love of racism leads?  To mass murder?

No one was murdered. I'm not saying I wanted him to kill anyone. I'm simply pointing out that he wasn't really trying very hard.

And I?m pointing out that the eventual outcome of state sponsored racism (which you will be voting for at the next election) is often genocide.

Maybe if the Tories and Labour had dealt with illegal immigration swiftly and competently the likes of Reform wouldn't have grown and no violence or protests would have ever occurred, Vertigo?

Only 1 Muslim has been killed by a far right nutcase in this country. Whereas over 100 people have been killed by Muslim terrorists. So the consequence of mass Muslim immigration, which you choose to vote for, is over 100 people dead. So the problem isn't Me. It is you.

Yup, spot on.  Of course every person who thinks racism is not a particularly admirable trait in others wants this for themselves and for their grandkids, you utter waste of space (I moderated my language quite considerably here).

Obviously The Tories and Labour failings of the last 20 years or so  have led to the rise of populist (and quite barmy) parties on both the extreme right and left.  We?ve seen this happen before though haven?t we?  Those who forget the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them.
