The Government consistently cook the books when it comes to true rates of unemployment aswell as the true rate of inflation. It fails to disclose offender immigration status, so I wouldn't put it past them to cook the overall offences data also. There's a severe shortage of prison spaces, such that the government are releasing criminals early. If the crime rate has fallen, why are there more people in prison?

Who said the crime rate has fallen?  I was talking about murder and violent crime which has fallen, crimes such as shoplifting and phone theft, fraud, sexual offences, rape, stalking and harassment are up.  The thing is, if all the black men who come over here in their  thousands are murdering psycopaths (which is the impression people like you wish to give) then there should also have been thousands of additional murders and the murder rate should be skyrocketing but there aren?t and it isn?t.  Undoubtedly immigrants are responsible for some, possibly even the majority of the rise in the afore mentioned increasng crimes and I would like to see the government doing much more to crack down on shops, mini markets, car washes and barbers run by illegal immigrants, closing them down and running those individuals out of the country asap.  Same with Asian grooming gangs which the authorities do at last seem to be far more focused on than before.

Interestingly, when it comes to overall crime by ethnicity whilst blacks are over represented, Asians who make up 8% of the England and Wales population are under-represented in prison (5%).  More Asians then please, they are clearly more law abiding than any other ethnic group.

There was a US backed coup where the government of Victor Yanukovich, who wanted to please both sides & trade with both the EU & Russia, he was forced out after days of deadly protest. Russian speaking separatists then took control of Crimea & parts of the east where the majority are pro Russia. This was all during the Obama era. So the civil war rumbled on for the 8 years with tens of thousands dead. There were numerous attempts at peace agreements which Ukraine repeatedly violated. Angela Merkel admitted recently that they used the 8 year war to buy time & build up Ukraine's military. Ukraine is a proxy for the US to degrade Russia defences with the ultimate goal of defeating Russia & taking control of its vast resources & preventing the rise of a multipolar world order (BRICS). Russia was provoked into it's 'special military operation', which is funny because that was how the US described it's attacks on Iraq, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan etc. Russia invaded to protect the pro Russia regions of the east. The invasion didn't occur in a vacuum. Anyway, the pattern is clear. The US with it's nearly 800 military bases around the world, is responsible for the conflict we see all over the world now. Just one question - if Ukraine is a proxy for America to degrade Russian defences why has Trump continually sucked up to Putin, even appeared to side with him and threatened to withdraw aid to Ukraine, and Nato and humiliated Zelensky in front of the world?s press.  Is it all a cunning ploy?  And yes I can well believe that Trump woke up one morning and after a quick chat with his mate in Israel egging him on decided to bomb Iran without thinking through the consequences of such actions, that is very plain to see.

It has rather become the Spam v Swirl thread.  We are more or less the last men standing on here as it were.  The two pub bores who each had to have the last word but who will be the victor?  Spam, but only because he?s younger and I will probably die sooner.   I was rather hoping John would have pulled the plug before then though.
