Cold War mentality. The older generation believes Russia plans to conquer all of Europe. Considering its taken them 4 years to control Eastern Ukraine I don't see how anyone can realistically believe they will blitzkrieg all the way to Portugal. Why would Russia want control of Europe? Europe has nothing to offer. Russia is the Eurasian landmass natural supplier of resources. All Europe has is huge welfare bills & masses of immigrants. Not much in it for Russia really.

And yet Russia believes exactly this about Europe and America, that they wish to conquer Russia.  Very obviously Putin wishes to regain ALL the territory that was once part of the Soviet Union, regardless of the wishes of the inhabitants of those countries.  He probably has an eye on Finland, would love complete control of the Arctic, he might even have designs on getting Alaska back, I mean why not?  Look at the madness of Trump and Greenland.

I'm being serious. The African couple have an African baby, the mother goes into labour on the cruise ship in UK territory without having ever set foot outside the cruise ship. She gives birth & we're supposed to believe the African baby born of African parents who spent 15 minutes in UK waters. That child is English apparently. It really is absurd.

People don't realise they are being propagandised. Trained & conditioned by the government & media to hate Russia & Putin & believe that Russia poses a threat to the UK. Despite there being no good reason whatsoever for Russia to actually attack the UK, other than in self defence. We are conditioned to believe Zelensky is akin to Jesus Christ & that Ukraine has never had a problem with Banderite Russophobic Nazis in the country. Despite the Azov battalion openly displaying Nazi insignia.

Russia views the UK as an enemy, we support Ukraine for starters.  We have imposed sanctions, confiscated assets, supplied arms and resources to Russia's enemies. We are part of NATO which Russia detests and wishes to destroy.  We were part of the EU which Russia also detests and was utterly delighted when we left as it weakened the Union.  Russia expends a lot of time and energy fomenting dissent and stirring up trouble in our country (you're a prime example of someone who has lapped up a bunch of anti-Western propaganda from Russian bots and bad actors).  Russia poses a threat to our infrastructure our deep sea internet and power cables.  It employs hackers to disrupt our industry and banking.  Need I go on?

NATO is a proxy of the US empire. You probably believe NATO is a defensive alliance, whilst ignoring its track record of attacking & invading multiple countries in the last 40 years & funding genocide.  I've no influence from Russian bots. Merely independent media that isn't controlled by the state.

The whole conquering Europe myth is propaganda. It would be impossible for Russia to actually subjugate an entire population of any country. Yet some people still believe it a realistic possibility. Despite the logistical financial & social impossibility of it. That shows the level of brainwashing really.

I'm still not sure why Russia blew up its own multi billion dollar gas pipeline instead of just turning off the Tap? But the Western media were happy to lead people to believe that Russia would blow up its own expensive infrastructure for no good reason.

When Russia annexed Crimea in 2014 it didn't have to fire a shot. They held a referendum & 95% + of the population there were happy to join Russia. This is why Putin has no interest in taking all of Western Ukraine. Because the majority of the inhabitants in West Ukraine are pro EU & vehemently anti Russia. The areas Russia are seizing in the East are majority ethnic Russians who also voted overwhelmingly to join Russia. It would be impossible for Russia to control the population of West Ukraine, Finland, Poland, Alaska or any other anti Russian country. Whereas if Russia disintegrates into military & economic collapse it would be possible for US companies to potentially re enter & gain access to its resources.

Media that isn't the Guardian, BBC or any other state propaganda. Independent investigative journalists & former CIA & US military. There are plenty of different sources available. Chris Hedges, & John Mearsheimer are good.
