You can think I'm a stupid gullible woman if it makes you happy.  I think logically.  The McCann's left for dinner and behaved in a normal way chatting to their friends and eating their food.  If they had left a dead Madeleine in their apartment do you honestly believe they would do that?  All you are doing is trying to invent a scenario that would fit in with your ridiculous theory.

Your argument boils down to 'I don't believe it could have happened, therefore it didn't happen".

Nor did it say it was evidence of guilt, but what the archiving report very clearly stated was that the man seen by the Smiths could not have been Gerry as he was sat at the table in the Tapas restaurant at the time.  Slam, and indeed, dunk.

Because I couldn't find anything in the files that specified what time Matt Oldfield said the alarm was raised, something you claimed was in there.  I did however remember him agreeing with the rest of the Tapas group that the alarm was raised around 10pm when they did the timeline and I did remember him saying Kate went off to do the check at around 10pm.

I have read the files.  And I have very good justification for not believing it could have happened the way you think because it's utterly barmy, in the same way I don't believe most conspiracy theories happened the way the loons say it.  I don't believe the holocaust was hoaxed by the Jews, I don't believe the CIA blew up the Twin Towers, I don't believe Sandyhook was a false flag operation, I don't believe the Americans faked the moon landing, I don't believe anyone who says they were abducted by aliens, none of that barmy crap.

What specifically is in the files that convinces you beyond doubt that the McCanns did it then?  Is it just the statement given by Mr Smith 4 months after the event, or is there something else you wish to present to us for consideration?
