Well, you claim Gerry carried her body to wasteland during his check, now where's the evidence for that?  There's literally none.  No sighting, no forensics, no nothing.  So what's stopping you giving us a timeline of events as you see them playing out?

I said it was a possibility. He takes her out on his noticeably unusual 9pm check, hides her somewhere in that direction. Recovers her when he goes off searching alone, then he gets seen by the Smiths. There's more evidence he was Smithman than Brueckner was so it seems like a reasonable scenario to me.

They do when there's cast iron evidence of them committing a crime as you seem to be suggesting there is in this case.  You have absolutely no doubt that Mr Smith's recall was 100% clear and accurate.  Why do you think the police didn't share your view?

He & wife were only 60-80%. But having read the rest of the evidence, like alarm before 10pm, Gerry searching alone, coincidental trousers & wrong pyjamas, it is obvious it was Gerry.

Evidence against - 7 out of 9 Smiths disagreeing with the Old Fella and his wife that it was Gerry.  The 4 months it took them to arrive at the very belated idea that it might have been Gerry, even though they never even saw the man?s face properly. The majority of the Tapas evidence putting Gerry at the table at the time of the Smiths sighting (given as 9.55-10pm).
