Plus I don't think Maddie weighed 25kg either. She certainly didn't look obese. I thought closer to 15kg & according to the stats the average weight for a four year old girl is around 15-16kg. From the size of Maddie, her height as shown in her last photos I suspect she was on the lower-middle weight range and closer to 15kg at most.

Just explain to me WHERE Gerry is supposed to have hidden Madeleine the first time and WHERE Gerry is supposed to have hidden her the second time.

Yes, I got that wrong but it?s still quite a weight to be carrying up and over a chain link fence, assuming you believe her body was dumped on the fenced off wasteland a few minutes walk from the apartment.  It would certainly slow you down, and if it was a dead body you?d certainly need two arms to suport it, making looking at your watch at the precise moment you were spotted, in the dark, quite difficult.

Let?s put the significance of 10.03pm to bed once and for all.  If Gerry had had the presence of mind and ability to read his watch at the precise moment he was seen by the Smiths and 10.03 was of such vital importance to his alibi, why did he not mention this time as the time Kate left the table in his first statement?  Why was it not written down on the timeline they all compiled that night?   Why did it only make an appearance a week later in his second statement?  Why having all agreed that the alarm was raised around 10pm in the aftermath, would Gerry deliberately try and shift the narrative by nealy 15 minutes, thus inevitably drawing suspicion to himself as umpteen witnesses including OC and creche staff would know that time was incorrect?  Why is that specific time not even mentioned in Kate?s book?  The Smiths had not even come forward a whole week after Madeleine?s disappearance so if he had been seen by them he would have had good reason to feel a bit more relaxed that he had gotten away with it and there would have been no need to invent the 10.03pm alibi of Kate leaving the table.
No, this is a complete red herring, it?s not even a verbatim record of what Gerry said, merely a third person recounting of what was spoken in English and translated into Portuguese.  But this is how conspiracy theories are consttucted.  Take one tiny detail and weave a whole narrative around it to suit the conspiracy agenda.   People are human, they make mistakes, they misspeak, they mishear, they mistype, but these little discrepancies are the food that fuels the conspiracy industry online.

Another question might also be - why move the body from the first location and double the chances of being caught red handed with a corpse and another question might be why not dump the body in a bin at 9pm instead of 10pm? It was dark by 9pm after all . . .
