What this little exchange seems to have established is that as far as Faithlilly is now concerned the Daniel Morcombe Foundation casts no shade whatsoever on the McCanns and the management of the Madeleine Fund, so that's progress. In years gone by the Morcombes and their Foundation have been repeatedly used to try and cast aspersions on the McCanns but it's great to know that on this occasion Faithlilly was merely updating us on its 20th Anniversary (which incidentally was last year) and that as far as she is now concerned it has no relevance whatsoever to the way the Madeleine Fund has been managed.
Furthermore, we have now established that the McCanns' actions and behaviours both public and private should give no one any reason to consider that they might be anything other than genuinely grieving parents, hiding nothing and entirely earnest in their quest to find out what happened to their daughter.
A good point to draw a line under the discussion for now as we seem to be entirely in agreement on these two points.
