The basic questions which must be asked are:

  • where is the evidence of a break-in?
  • if it was a botched burglary what was taken?
  • is this really a final attempt to pass the buck?

1. Well according to Clarence Mitchell, THERE WASN'T.

2. NOTHING, that from gerry mccann's lips.

3. It seems so.

if they panicked...nothing was taken...evidence of break in ....open window...small one goes in via the window then opens the front door for the other two

I have never heard of a burglar yet who could enter and leave premises without leaving some forensic trail and seemingly empty handed.  Burglars are not in the habit of abducting children but then we have discussed this previously and at length.
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.

Indeed, and also the PJ would have rounded up the 'usual suspects' so to speak.  The reward in the beginning was huge! great incentive for a snitch don't you think John?

I don't think the PJ are being obtuse in this matter. I do believe they would love to solve this case.

An officer told the paper: 'It has dogged the investigation all the way through and it's happening again.
'If we can't question the three suspects again the trail goes cold and the case will be shelved.

Earlier on in the investigation Scotland Yard requested access to bank accounts and for permission to search accommodation associated with these three arguidos.

Their requests were refused by the judiciary.

I fail to see what the problem is.

When Robert Murat was an arguido there was no compunction about checking him out thoroughly and searching his home.

What is so different about these guys?
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

the room was disturbed by the crowd looking for Maddie and the PJ did not carry out a proper forensic search...i think SY should be allowed to finish their investigations

The Mail is simply regurgitating the original Sun story

If they know who they are, they must know if they have questioned the or not.

Or maybe not -

OG have been pushed out by the Germans who have reserved all the deck chairs for the foreseeable future

My question is why would anyone believe this story in the paper?

The small difference is SY did not interview Murat, check him out thouroughly, or search his home because they had no jurisdiction to do so.

This is a Portuguese police force and perhaps they did check these people out, and rule them out. They did re interview them in front of the SY so what more can be done?

If Kate can refuse to be  re interviewed, refuse to answer basic questions, and do a no show for a reconstruction then why should any one else who may not have been involved be dragged screaming to account for THEIR whereabouts etc.

because it is what some of us have thought all along that the PJ are blocking SY
