It's a newspaper which is uninfluenced by pink pressure Davel, and it is quoting a PJ source, add those two up and it makes credibility.

As for the Sun article, it quotes an "officer" without saying what sort of officer. IMO it is not an OG police officer, it is probably some retired officer with no inside knowledge of OG at all.

I totally agree.

I can't believe people are attempting to 'sanitize' burglars.     A quick google search shows the amount of people - (from young girls to OAPs in their nineties) who have been violently attacked - some within an inch of their lives by vicious, cowardly burglars.    Criminals who can do that are capable of anything IMO.

Victims of burglars all say the same  even if they were not attacked  - i.e. that they feel personally violated.  Some never get over it and never feel safe in their own homes again.

The idea that burglars are people who wouldn't dream of harming or even taking a child - even  if circumstances dictated that it was in their own selfiish interests to do so -  is unrealistic IMO.

OK..I shall reword what I wrote.

While its possible...the likelyhood of 3 burglars breaking into an apartment...one that is being checked every 15 mins or so, leaving all valuables, and taking a child who they had woken up instead..its just tiny.

Having said that I guess EVERY theory in this case is valid as there is no proof of anything at all. Only solid fact in this case is that a child disappeared that night and has not been found since.. The burglars who steal kids and not cash or jewelry though..I can't get my head around at all.

my opinion realised from day one that the PJ would not cooperate with SY...if SY solve the case portugal is a laughing stock...agreed... the PJ aint going to let that happen...

Does anybody really think that a burglar would grab a child and walk off with her?  In my experience these things seldom happen.  As another member rightly commented yesterday, any burglar confronted by a child or anyone else for that matter normally does a runner pronto.  No burglar is going to risk a child abduction charge if all they went out for was a few trinkets.
