When did the Gordon family stay?
21 Apr to 28 Apr. Opening the bedroom shutter made a lot of noise that week (S.Gordon statement), therefore opening the bedroom shutter made a lot of noise the next week, on the night of May 3rd.

I've asked what you think happened to cause Madeleine to vanish if the noise of the shutter caused her to flee?
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

If as you think the noise of the shutters caused Madeleine to flee ... what do you think happened to her thereafter?
In some other cases where a child is at home and the parents are out and a burglary attempt begins the child hides.

Yes ... and then?

Yes ... and then?
IMO step-by-step investigation is best Brietta.
Not jumping ahead (there are plenty of theories which do that and they got nowhere).
If the first tiny step can be deduced, then the second, then the third, ... it will lead eventually to the solution.

Thats great for a theory but you need hard evidence along the way, of which there is little and the little there is is being "interpreted" to suit theories

No theory here Merc - it's a case of working out each tiny step, without having any theory where it may lead .

Thats fine, but you have a theory to begin with ie the interrupted burglary, no hard evidence at least that stands up, for the starting point imo

In the meantime Madeleine is missing and there were burglars operational in Luz at the time who may know something about that.

MAY is a word used too often IMO
This case needs hard evidence or its abut to be shelved permanently

There was a case in Arizona recently where a child was home and the parents were out and a burglary attempt began.

And in a recent case in Tennesee two teenage girls were home alone when a burglary attempt began.

So?
No one is saying it doesnt happen

You will need hard evidence for any theory

S.Gordon also states: "The ... shutters of the apartment were all in good condition"

Thanks Peg, it was a bit tongue in cheek, but if the Gordon's had been after, then there was a possibility of damage making it more noisy. But as you point out.
