Ask Stephen ... or PM him  @)(++(* maybe ... he is the one who raised it in relation to the tabloids and seems to have quite a bee in his bonnet about it all.

It is the mccann supporters with the 'bee in their bonnet' over Amaral making money from Madeleine's disappearance.

Yet the hypocrisy shown by those  same people not criticizing others doing the same is staggering .

Oh by the way Brietta, did Summers and Swan  donate money to the search for Madeleine from their 'vast' book sales ?  8**8:/: 8(0(*

It is wrong for the Sun to make money from a missing child ... but it is perfectly OK for Mr Amaral to become a rich man doing exactly what you condemn the tabloids for.
That's perhaps a bit of a conundrum for you I would have thought.

One must not forget to point out home truths when one is making claims.
1. Sr Armaral was an innocent person who had NO VESTED INTEREST IN making Money from MADDIE.
He wrote a book about an investigation where he was involved with the SEARCH for little Maddie. Many police officer's do this and he explained his reasons for doing so.

2. The parents were responsible for the missing child, and grabbed an opportunity to make money, by setting up a company. selling goods and writing a book, they also paid for advertising by being kept in the newspapers, they latched on to all UK anniversaries to bleat about missing their daughter - the one they didn't search for themselves, being too busy promoting themselves.
They also promoted themselves as 'do gooders' latching onto 'good causes' to try and dispel any negative press, they even spent some from the company money to kill off any negative press even if just a theory, by persecuting a police co ordinate who's only thoughts were to try and make sense of the  'outrageous stories' by the Tapas 9. The parents also became millionaires, which they wouldn't have achieved if their daughter had not disappeared.

3. The press, played no part in searching for the truth of what happened to little Maddie, they didn't send  independent journalist to investigate all theories which were put forward, they merely played the game of Maddie makes money for us who gives a .... what happened. They continue to print pictures of little Maddie as when she was 3 years old. cute pix sell papers= money! They continue to ply readers with mis information and still play lipservice to the Parents who are at the heart of this whole sorry money making scheme.

I do not condone anyone making money from little Maddie's fate , what ever that is, but If I am asked which two I find most abhorrant it would be numbers 2 & 3.

Most definitely there is enough room in that cupboard for a young child to hide - but the cupboards were all checked (snip)
2015 in Tennessee, two teenage girls were home alone, parents were out, a burglary started, here is where they hid.

That is very ineresting, they were teenagers and knew a burglary was happpening. and knew in an instant where to hide... would a child not just hide under her bed?. I will never be convinced burglars got in through that window-jemmied shutters... and left with a child.

(snip) jemmied shutters... (snip)
It is proven that the shutter of 5A child bedroom window had absolutely no lock and no bolt and could be raised from outside without jemmying and without leaving any trace of damage.

I would say that middle paragraph is libelous but with the bias taht exists on this forum will be allowed to stay

Oh I suppose they could have become millionairs by winning the lottery!
But anyway, since that hasn't happened we go back to how they came about to be very wealthy. Back to number 2.

Just as a side issue does anyone have any data regarding the increased financial  benefit of parents who have a missing/murdered child? or who set up a company?  who globe trotted? met the Pope? got onto Oprah show?... I want to be absolutely fair about this if others in the UK have done this then I will not be so horrified with the families bahaviour.

So the shutters were left half open and the window could be opened from the outside? Did Gerry and Kate not complain about shutters 'not working' and did maintenance not attend to fix this? I'm sure I read that.
If=  IF  the shutters were opened so quickly how fast can a sleepy child run into a cupboard?  Sorry Pegs I just can't buy this scenario.

Hi pegasus, teenagers have very different behaviour than toddlers.
Hiding is learned and extensively practiced long before the age of 47 months.
Your theory underestimates her intelligence Heri IMO.

Just "inadequate" fingerprints. I assume this does  not mean "partial" otherwise the three suspect amigos' ones will have been compared?
Nothing to really tell us if those prints were of members the tapas group who fiddled with the shutters or a stranger who was there for a crime

Hi pegasus, teenagers have very different behaviour than toddlers.

Hi Heri, I have followed your argumnets and think you are on the right track. Does this mean on the present evidence you do not suspect the parents?
