Supposition, and the ability to think like a child.

I have been teaching for some time Pegasus.

So I do have some idea of how children behave/react.

So how do you apply your expertise in thinking like a child to this case Steve?
Does your theory have the child doing anything at all that evening?

We've been discussing this for over a month now, so, supposing Madeleine flees from burglar, what then ?

Lets move on to what you think happened to her.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

If an adult hid in a wardrobe in the parents bedroom it would be the right wardrobe, which is hanging space so has plenty of room for an adult. (The shelves in the left wardrobe make the spaces there a bit small to conceal a fully grown adult IMO).

Too noisy, Pegasus. Rattling of coat hangers & thump of shoes against mdf manoeuvring himself into position.

There is no proof Pegasus any third party was in the apartment.

Even Mitchell admitted that.

No light to see what he's doing.

Agreed 100% Steve, no intruder entered the apartment.
Would you continue with a burglary if you suddenly discovered people were home?

That, too, although he may have used a torch or light from a mobile phone but that could have attracted attention.

Not if he was wearing rats-fur slippers Misty.
But seriously, IMO no intruder hid in the parent's bedroom wardrobe, no intruder hid anywhere, no intruder even entered the apartment.

Maybe he had his feet wrapped in surgical bandages :)
Sorry, but I disagree with you entirely. Your analysis hits a brick wall after Madeleine leaves the bedroom but mine doesn't.

Yes believe it or not, burglars at the lower-end of the intelligence spectrum sometimes use the illumination of their mobile phone screen because they were too stupid to think of buying a torch.

(footage from infra-red security camera which works in complete darkness)

But in the PDL case, there is no evidence of any intruder inside the apartment.

You talk of the tiny noise of plastic coathangers rattling, when the noise of the shutter being opened is a hundred times louder Misty, ask the lady who stayed there the week before, very noisy.

If it was me at age 3 in the middle of the night I would have instinctively run first to the other bedroom Jassi wouldn't you?

Why would the intruder inside the apartment wish to possibly alert GM to his presence by making any noise?
