Going from burgalurs n (many)stealing keys taking key cutting equiptment with them, cutting the key, putting it back from where it was stole from- stealing Maddie... and maybe later another burglar team arrived jemmied the shutter and...

Therefore, finding the south bedroom empty on Thursday night, she would assume they had gone out again.
The question is, did she know exactly where they had gone out to?
Can we deduce this from the statements?

The issue on the door being left open for MM to go find them only appeared with the rogatory interviews 4/08 and not in any of their original interviews and Id imagine by the time these interviews were processed the decision had already been made to shelve the case IMO

I dont think KM said to her daughter, if you wake up you can come find us, because if she did, then the question of whether it was a good idea to leave it open or not in case she woke up wouldnt have arisen.


Or maybe she did tell her and then regretted it ie not wanting her half asleep child wanderng into the night? And what of the other nhts the door was left open? It wasnt for the same reason, according to GM it was so as not to wake the kids via the front door. All very confusing.
