So are you and Heriberto going with the 100 yards or the 100 metres distance from G5A?
100 metres or 100 yards are both very inaccurate figures of speech G-Unit.
The distance to the ground-floor apartment which was burgled one evening in Feb 2007 is in fact 50 metres.

Measured it on an aerial photo.

Did you measure his/her/their/ escape route? How far would they have gotten on foot from the snatching time to being discovered?

Measured it on an aerial photo.

That suggests you chose the apartment you wanted it to be and then measured it's distance from G5A. If so, that sounds more like speculation than research to me.

@pegasus

I have done my research and the gentleman named in the newspaper does indeed own an apartment in Luz which he rents out. It is not in Block 4, it is in Block 2, directly north of Block 5.

The burgled ground-floor apartment was identified with complete certainty by internet sleuthing G-Unit.
No wishful thinking or guessing. 50 metres from 5A. Mr Redwood didn't seem to know about it.

Did you find the apartment name? Look on streetview, I believe you will find it's block 4 not 2.

Offline pegasus

@G-Unit sorry streetview is now blanking out the apartment name sign.
However see 1st photo on this page by Heri to see what streetview has blanked out (click to enlarge).
And see 3rd photo (click to enlarge) for zoomed out view showing where it is in relation to alleyway between 5 and 4.

There's more than one Casa Maria, believe it or not. Mine has the man's name associated with it.  ?{)(**

Click on 'Location' for a map showing where his apartment is.

View from lounge window. Clearly not block 2.

The main point here is a that a ground-floor apartment only 50 metres from 5A, and very similar to 5A, was burgled in Feb 2007.  Mr Redwood in Crimewatch was unaware of this.

Also of interest is that the owner of the burgled ground-floor apartment near 5A said that two further ground-floor apartments had been burgled around the same time.

By October 2015 it seems SY were aware of 28 cases of illegal access to properties in the vicinity around 2007.
Poor record keeping by the GNR combined with low-priority crime probably didn't help.
