Portugal have been fairly accommodating. Consider the roles reversed and Portuguese police or any police from another country over here digging the land up and searching. From appearances so far I can't think of an example where they have denied a request.

Not by me. If someone is accusing the Portuguese of wrongdoing they need to provide the facts they are basing their accusations on. Why should the Portuguese authorities feel ashamed in the same way that those responsible for Hillsborough should feel ashamed is what I'm asking, because that's what I've deduced is being said. If I've misunderstood I will apologise.

Evidence? What evidence? 

You do not appear to like the court decision, which is quite different to evidence.  You have an opinion as to the conduct of the investigation, which is quite different to evidence.

I haven't implied the McCanns are lying, they have. If they make contradictory statements how can they both be true?

Please define 'mess', with cites. Please remember Amaral is guilty of defaming no-one at the moment. Sometimes people think they have 'evidence' when they haven't.

When I preface a post with the statement "I think" isn't it fairly obvious that what I am offering is my opinion?  If opinions are no longer allowed on this forum then please point me to the rule which outlaws it, alternatively if you don't like me expressing my opinion don't read it.
