You sound desperate.

The Portuguese have questioned the men and found NOTHING.

So what makes you think, SY know better ?

1) I am not desperate
2) Imagine you question someone.  Then subsequently after further investigation you have more questions for the person you first questioned.  Should you be denied because you already questioned them before and therefore you've had a shot at it?
3) Know better than who, you?

Believing what The Sun says are you? Most of the article is guesswork. My comments in brackets, couldn't be bothered with the rest of it.

Brit cops 'know who snatched Maddie' [They didn't say that]
MADELEINE McCann was snatched during a botched robbery by a gang of thieves which included a 16-year-old youth, British police believe. [And they haven't said that]
she was abducted in May 2007. [She's 'missing']
British police fear that during a break-in at the apartment where Madeleine was sleeping she woke up and in a panic one of the gang snatched her. [Do they? They haven't said so]
If you care to read my recent posts on this subject properly you will see I repeatedly use the caveat "if the report is to be believed".

The Portuguese Police have rightly refused the English police any further interviews with the current arguidos on the basis that they have failed to introduce any new evidence against them.  That is the Law!
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

Since when do police need new evidence to reinterview someone

ISnt that the basis in the UK too? If a suspect is released from questioning, dont the police need concrete grounds/new evidence to bring them in again?

Released from questioning
That's a new one
The fact you are answering the question means you don't know the answer

In the UK there are strict rules relating to the questioning of suspects.  Within a specified period of time police must charge or release someone they have arrested in relation to a crime.

Thanks, that much I know, but I was under the impression they cannot bring them in again for no reason, ie they must have new evidence? Or new related incriminating info with which to requestion?
