I think you need to provide a cite that paracetamol suspensions like Calpol are illegal in Portugal.  Just because a brand of paracetamol suspension is not sold in a country does not make it an illegal drug.

And...?  A simple cite proving that paracetamol suspensions for children are outlawed in Portugal will do.  Better still, nip down the pharmacy in PdL later and ask them about it.

I've had visitors that have brought calpol sachets with them from the UK. You can buy infant paracetamol in chemists here if you're concerned. The brand name is benuron and it comes in a syrup and as a suppository (bit weird at first but is so much easier for the under ones).
