I just cannot imagine ever wanting to go on a 'this is Maddies last sightings tour'. * shudders* In fact now we know it is awash with paedophiles, swathy types, gypsies, burglars and kidnappers I can't think of ever wanting to go to PDL for anything!

I am not against professional journalists, and genuine detectives amature or professional who are trying to asssertain what happened, having a guided look around- but it will attract those who like to sniff about macabre areas like leeds where Sutciffe terrorised women- Cromwell road where the Wests terrorised many and still to this day  evils creeps still wander around the moors where Brady and Hindley enjoyed torturing the families of children they tortured, murdered and buried there.
IF Maddie was kidnapped by a 'gang' I wouldn't be surprised if the people involved did not go on this tour for some kind of sick gratification.
I have made it clear that I do not do 'sick gratification'.

All visitors so far have been much more knowledgeable about the case than the 'professional journalists', who managed to depict that Madeleine disappeared from block 6, and who are making money from Madeleine's case whilst peddling such tripe.

I said it happens, I never claimed you sought out such cretins. And no one knows what happened to Maddie apart from those who are responsible for her fate, whatever that is/was. Also no one knows where or what time she did dissapear apart from those responsible.

This popped up on CMoMM a short time ago, from Mr Tony Bennett.

"The organiser of the 'sick ghoul tours' was former member here 'Elsa Craig' whom I identified long ago as a pro-McCann.

He was banned from the forum ..."

To be clear, from memory the original Mirror story preceded the ban by about a day.  So I would guess the reason for the ban is that they did not want the forum to be associated with the Luz tours organiser.

But I found it amusing that on this forum there are those who include me in the sceptics group, while on CMoMM I was perceived as pro-McCann.

And to clarify for anyone reading this post who is unaware of my real position, I am neither a sceptic nor pro-McCann.  I am pro-Madeleine.

Anyone worth noting is banned and slagged off by Mr. Bennett at some point.  He makes up his reasons as he goes  along.
Basically you just have to disagree with him on some point or other.

Like many people you keep your options open and prefer to follow the evidence wherever that takes you.

How do you define pro-Madeleine?

How do you define pro-Madeleine?
Pro-Madeleine is self-defining.

Pro-Madeleine is self-defining.

I don't think the definition means a thing.
I think evidence for being pro-Madeleine lies in actions and words ... and I believe many who mouth the slogan and claim it as their own only b........ise the description.
I know you are not numbered amongst these and while disagreeing with some of what you have to say I have always respected your painstaking research and the methodology used.

I never could understand why you would have wanted to post in that place in the first instance ... I find it possible to read it only in small measure.  It disgusts me.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

I get information from a lot of sources.  Some of these are places I feel comfortable in, some are not.  The issue is whether I can extract the information I am seeking.

I understand that.  True research.  However I firmly believe the majority of these people know nothing and those who perhaps may know more ... and I think it is a high probability they might exist and have been active on the internet for a long time ... are most definitely not going to share that knowledge.

I fear not a lot of people are pro McCann but most are pro Maddie, there being a big difference.

To my way of thinking being pro-Madeleine does not consist of dogging every step of the investigation with FOI requests ~ complaining about every penny spent on her behalf ~ lobbying MPs ~ or raising one petition after another on one pretext after another ~ nor does it involve organising various outrages to impede any investigation or even just for fun.

Just one example among many ...

Sick internet trolls target Kate and Gerry McCann after Crimewatch special
THE new investigation into Madeleine McCann's disappearance has been hit by vile trolls.

Scores of people are thought to have made nuisance calls to the inquiry following a fresh appeal for information on the BBC's Crimewatch show.

Many boasted on Twitter about their time-wasting stunts, with some claiming they told the police new e-fits released on the programme looked like Madeleine's father Gerry, 44.

Twitter user LadyReeve wrote: "Awks when the e-fit is Gerry McCann! I'm going to ring in and name him just in case the police haven't got it yet #Crimewatch."

Where has all this gone ?

Answer.... Nowhere.

Has it ever occurred to you that the reason that no police force have found an abductor (s), is for a simple reason.

There never was one.

There is no doubt that Maddie's disappearance is one of the most enduring mysteries of modern times and attracts much attention even now.  Amaral's book has helped to keep the mystery in the public mind regardless of everything else aimho.
