I notice my post above has been ignored.
I know that a person in a car leaving block 6 carpark would not be able to see a car parked in front of 5A. The wall is far too high.
It only decreases sufficiently in height as the car travels around the corner and draws more or less level with Madeleines bedroom, so the passenger would be needing to be looking absolutely to the left side (at least 90
o to the way the car was moving). The area was very near black because the street lamps were up in the heads of the trees. You can check this on GE street scene.
People do not usually peer sideways into the darkness, unless there is something brightly illuminated or very interesting going on ... and there was nothing at that point. They normally look in the direction the headlights are pointing and illuminating.
I think this young lady was mistaken about the position of the grey car ... maybe it was outside the first apartment in the next block [block ?4] ... or maybe she saw a grey car there the next day?
Had she been travelling in an eastern direction rather than the western direction despite the darkness in that area of the car park, she would not have had to twist her head round 90
o and the sighting of a car there is much more feasible
.... but WHY would she remember such an insignificant thing?
