I don't work like that.  I cross reference the statements and see if they support each other.  Like mentioning Leanne, leanne meets up with Amy once the search begins so maybe they do stick together for the rest of the night.

I select the bits that confirm each other.  If two statements confirm each other's points they are more likely to be fact than when they contradict each other.

That is a presumption.

How do you know what she was thinking ?

Because it is the most likely reason given her actions at the time, the actions of others towards her in helping and that given the situation, what else would she be thinking?

Maybe what she said she was thinking?

Maybe what she said she was thinking?

Yes, there is that as well. However it was said without any real evidence or justification at that time, she could only have based that on, what best to call it, a maternal or gut instinct?

However at that precise moment she could not have known what had happened to Madeleine, and from the actions of those around her, they were motivated enough on the prospect of her wandering off to conduct searches and recruit others to do so.

'It's a misconception, Kate didn't know what had happened to Madeleine at this stage. She was making an assumption probably fueled with blind panic that she was confronting her worst nightmare.'

That is a presumption.

How do you know what she was thinking ?

Are you trying to re write what happened? Kate has told the global audience on may occasions that SHE KNEW what happened to Madeleine due to the curtains blowing and whooshing and jemmied shutters and all that nonsense. Indeed we have her supporters telling us it is the best way of showing Maddie was abducted. Because Kate knew right away.

Anyway, I have pointed out another contradiction to their colourful recall of events, maybe you should just accept Kate's word or maybe not or maybe just pick and chose which ones you believe.

Why should anyone listen to your advice?

This is where I have to go with what is factual and despite what Kate said, at that precise moment, she did not know or could have possibly known what had happened. At best she could have a strong suspicion. The shutters, windows doors etc on their own were not indicative of a straight up abduction at that time.

So, that being the case, yes Kate appears to have had her worst fears confirmed when she believed Madeleine had been taken, but at the time we are talking about, she couldn't possibly have known for sure.

How were Kate's worst fears confirmed, then? You say the shutters, doors, etc. were not enough to indicate abduction. What additional evidence was found?

Well as has been said, straight away she assumed that Madeleine had been taken, this I suggest is her worst fear as it would be for any parent.

At that time the shutters, door etc. were not indicative, but let's be clear we are talking within a specific timeframe. The only thing that would be indicative at this precise time would be a witness seen making their way away from the apartment with a child that was Madeleine. I think under those circumstances, at that precise time, Kate would be well founded in believing that Madeleine had been abducted.

As such, there is no evidence indicating what happened to Madeleine, hence why the investigation is somewhat at a standstill. The Scotland Yard enquiry runs out at the end of this month so it will be interesting to see what, if any conclusions they are able to publish.

Quite right too.  It's the civilized way of conducting an investigation.

Different countries different rules.
The American, for example publish all sorts of  contemporary public documents that in this country would have at least a 30 year delay before publication
