It's a fact.  Claiming to have worked for 3 FTSE 100 companies (as you do regularly and often) is no great set of credentials and does not lend any weight whatsoever to your opinions so why do you keep mentioning it?

Perhaps it would be fairer if there was a Missing Persons budget.  Every single person who goes missing, whether they are 3 years old or 30 gets the exact same amount allocated to the search for them and then once the money's gone, that's it.   That will stop the complaints won't it?

It would certainly be fairer.

Yes, and we could apply it to ALL crime solving.  A set budget for every case of fraud, burglary, murder, child abuse, rape, etc.  It would certainly be VERY fair as far as apportioning funds to each case is concerned.  Do you think this is a good idea?

Stick to the point Alfie.

Stick to the point Alfie.
The point is "Other Missing Kids Short Changed".  How do you propose we should rectify the situation then?

What makes you think that to one degree or another this does not happen?

It does happen. Certain forces have been downgrading 999 calls recently because of lack of resources.

I can tell you what we shouldn't be doing. We shouldn't be scaling back investigations into missing children in this country while allocating more funds to a disappearance that we do not have primacy over and therefore no power to prosecute anyone at all, no matter what the outcome.

If the perpetrator was found to be in UK, I believe they could

Im not sure jassi. Perhaps someone with more legal knowledge than myself would be able to clarify the point?
