Indeed

In your opinion.

Do you agree the 'crime scene' , if there was one, was contaminated by the Mccann's and their associates ?

By the way, do you know more than Moita Flores about the case ?

I think most people would agree it was an incredibly badly preserved crime scene and that inevitably important forensics could have been missed or destroyed.  Where we disagree is over whose responsibility it was to preserve the crime scene.

Why did they they contaminate the crime scene ?
Was that deliberately done?

They were apparently searching the apartment, for an abducted child. 8)-)))

So why would you find an abducted child in the apartment ?

I wasn't aware that the victims of the crime had hairy dogs with them;  nor was I aware that they were dropping cigarette ash all over the floor to mix in with the red fingerprint powder they packed as essential holiday gear.

Madeleine's case was botched from the word "go" by the Portuguese police.  If Moito Flores is one of those involved in that display of incompetence there is little wonder he is working hard to shift the blame.

"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Your totally one dimensional opinion of this case is irrelevant.

In the circumstances, the PJ did all they could.

Perhaps you would care to give citations of perfect poice investigations in the UK.

It wasn't a crime scene until it had been established that Madeleine wasn't there or in the near vicinity. That could not be done without first searching the whole of 5A.

It was the responsibility of the GNR ((who also searched 5a) to cordon off the place once they had established she was missing.   But they didn't do that.

The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

So why would you find an abducted child in the apartment ?

The police searched the apartment  on arrival and took no precautions to prevent contamination of the scene while doing so, one even leaving fingerprints.

Is it your suggestion the apartment should not have been checked?

They were looking for a little girl who was missing from her bed.
Makes sense to thoroughly search the apartment. Does it not?

The scene was already contaminated by the Mccanns and co.

Criticizing is easy in retrospect.

Why not criticize the source of this case, namely leaving children unprotected in  insecure accomodation ?

Perhaps you can tell me why the group were searching for an abducted child in the apartment ?

Yet they claim abduction from the start.

In the old days one used to 'lose' embarrassing files down the back of the filing cabinet;  in my opinion Moito Flores blustering about abductors and windows is the equivalent of that.

Madeleine was taken in Portugal.

In an equivalent case conducted by British police the one certainty is that she wouldn't have been given up on as dead without corroborating evidence.
It must be unprecedented to 'shelve' a case as quickly as Madeleine's was.

You don't know Madeleine was 'taken' in Portugal.

She could have walked out of the apartment and disappeared.

Her fate, no matter your bluster remains undetermined by any of the involved investigative teams..

YES it does however, she wasn't 'missing' she was 'abducted' via a window according to Mother Kate first on the alleged 'crime scene'.

It really does help if you stick with the program. You will recall the suspporters here are arguing, from 10 years on and with nothing else to go on but Kates word, that From her initial knowledge about a door being 'ajar' to opening the door she KNEW RIGHT AWAY.
So, knowing right away.. she checked  the apartment, then ran out knowing of it  her daughter was 'abducted' leaving two babies, then the tapas group went to check again knowing she was abducted...

...and the toad turned into a handsome prince... Some people are better than others at making up stories.
