I never said that. I disagree with your reading of the archiving report which, in my opinion, leaves all the possible crimes on the table. Edgar thinks someone has information but he's just speculating.

The archiving dispatch is not open to interpretation.

Which part of the archiving report that you quoted was inaccurate?
???????

The bit that I quoted.
What's up, old man?

So Kate went for one long run with Matthew prior to the 3rd of May and that makes her conversant enough with the terrain outside of Luz to dispose of a body?  Get a grip.   The archiving report is accurate - neither McCann was conversant enough with the surrounding areas to know of good spots to permanently hide a body, nor did they have easy access to areas outside Luz (unless you think running some distance with a corpse at night is a goer?)

if the lady walked to Lagos and back in 2 hours how long does it take to get there and back in a car?

The clincher (of the relevance of the thread):

Quote
Despite all of this, it was not possible to obtain any piece of evidence that would allow for a medium man, under the light of the criteria of logics, of normality and of the general rules of experience, to formulate any lucid, sensate, serious and honest conclusion about the circumstances under which the child was removed from the apartment (whether dead or alive, whether killed in a neglectful homicide or an intended homicide, whether the victim of a targeted abduction or an opportunistic abduction), nor even to produce a consistent prognosis about her destiny and inclusively - the most dramatic - to establish whether she is still alive or if she is dead, as seems more likely.

That, maybe, clarifies the  the prosecutors' uncertainty about the nature of the crimes committed, beyond (for certain!) abduction.

As to who is protecting Madeleine's kidnappers, I wish I knew, and if I did, I would not be revealing it on this board.

I would be revealing it the authorities who need to know.

I would like to think the same is true of everyone who posts here.

Madeleine missing, can be explained Rob, by the other scenarios.

As to the shutters and window, never independently verified before 10 pm.
Whoever could verify that would have to be the perpetrator, wouldn't they.

You need to understand the use of the word 'whether'. in the passage quoted.

They didn't know what happened.

I think you are misunderstanding what they said;

While it is an unavoidable fact that Madeleine disappeared from Apartment 5A of the 'Ocean Club', the manner and circumstances under which this happened are not - despite the numerous diligences made in that sense -, therefore the range of crimes that were indicated and referred to during the inquiry remains untouched.
http://www.mccannpjfiles.co.uk/PJ/LEGAL_SUMMARY.htm
What would be another way of saying that as "remains untouched" doesn't sound right to me?  Does a crime "remaining untouched" sound like a perfect translation to you?

You have totally lost the plot since the Supreme Court Decision.

However, that is not surprising.

Likewise, your grasp of deductive reasoning is marked by it's absence.

It is the Supreme Court judges who have lost the plot.

The precedent of the Leonor Cipriano debacle leaves me pessimistic that they will find it.

Not what I said, but I'm sure you knew that, so kindly cut jibes like 'get a grip'.

There are but two sources for the McCann running patterns, so we don't have enough information to determine what the actuality was.  One of those sources shows the archiving report to be erroneous - fact.

Your speculation that neither was conversant with the area is pure speculation.  You cannot support it because Luz in not hermetically sealed.  It's not like Patrick McGoohan in The Prisoner.
