Some people seem unable to acknowledge or accept the legal case is over.

It is.

Get over it.

if the lady walked to Lagos and back in 2 hours how long does it take to get there and back in a car?
???? Which lady walked to Lagos?  Why is car travel there and back pertinent?

Depending on which part of Lagos is the destination around 7 to 12 minutes one-way.

What would be another way of saying that as "remains untouched" doesn't sound right to me?  Does a crime "remaining untouched" sound like a perfect translation to you?
Not what it says in English.  The range ... remains untouched.

There was no miscarriage of justice.

The Supreme Court made their decision on the given facts and Portuguese Law.

P.S. The Cipriano case has it's own threads, take it there.

Explain.
"Whoever could verify that would have to be the perpetrator, wouldn't they."  I suspect Madeleine went missing between 9:45 and 10:00 PM so if that is when the window was opened just prior to Kate's check. How many persons could have possibly seen the shutters up between those times?  Really only one, the perpetrator himself.

Not what it says in English.  The range ... remains untouched.
Have you looked at the Portuguese and given your best translation?

Think about it.

By the time I could check every Portuguese to English translation, I would probably be dead.  I only check if something seems amiss.  Nothing seems amiss with this translation. IMO.

If you think otherwise, your starting point is to put the Portuguese into a tool like Google translate.

Not what I said, but I'm sure you knew that, so kindly cut jibes like 'get a grip'.

There are but two sources for the McCann running patterns, so we don't have enough information to determine what the actuality was.  One of those sources shows the archiving report to be erroneous - fact.

Your speculation that neither was conversant with the area is pure speculation.  You cannot support it because Luz in not hermetically sealed.  It's not like Patrick McGoohan in The Prisoner.
Conversant with the area around Luz is relevant to the archiving dispatch passage you quoted for one reason only and that is to highlight the McCanns knowledge or otherwise of good spots to dispose of a body prior to the eveniing of 3rd May.   Were the McCanns sufficiently conversant with the terrain around Luz prior to the evening of 3rd May to know of good spots to hide a body?

So to answer that question properly, while Kate is running is Madeleine dead or alive at that time?

I think that would make a big difference in ones ability to seek out hiding spots.  If Madeleine had died before the run and Kate went to look for a hiding place and saw one, she would then have the problem of telling the person who hid the body where that place was.  Good to Kate in being able to do that describing a place where they had never been before.

I tried that once before but unless you know enough Portuguese you can't recognise the section one wants to type out into Google Translate.  I'm only asking someone to check that one sentence in the Portuguese version.

You can cut & paste into Google Translate.

You are attributing a motivation to me that I did not raise, which is more than a little bit naughty on your part.

I pointed out that the archiving report cannot be relied on for 100% accuracy or sufficiency.  If you wish to conflate that with something else, it is because you choose to conflate.  Your issue, your problem, not mine.

The archiving dispatch is not open to interpretation.

Well, we don't agree on what it says. The SC judges disagree with you. The Final Report by the PJ doesn't agree with you;

Type of Crime – Unknown
