In cahoots? That's the first time I've heard that. Do you have a cite?

The McCanns hold a press conference and take questions from the assembled media

Sandra Felgueiras (RTP): "But did you know Robert Murat?"

Gerry: "I'm not going to comment on that."

Why did that particular journalist ask that specific question?

Are you suggesting SF was fed that question by Amaral ? If so you'll have to have a cite.

Sorry, I don't have links to the wording of any leaks from the initial PJ investigation.

So you have nothing to substantiate your musings?

Just the question asked by the Portuguese reporter, which is better than absolutely no evidence whatsoever.

It is absolutely no evidence whatsoever. Murat had just been made an arguido and in that context the question was absolutely appropriate. Of course the McCanns had met Murat via Steve Carpenter.

The prosecutors were in no doubt Madeleine was abducted.

They said so.

They also said the parents could not, reasonably, be expected to foresee that any of their children might be abducted.

You really need to read what was copied and pasted earlier.

There is no proof an abduction took place, and no evidence that can't be explained by the  other scenarios as well.

Why was the question appropriate? Had no-one in the press or PJ ever sought to establish that the translator was not previously known to the victim's family & their friends in the preceding 18 days?

Obviously SF hadn't or why ask the question?

Let's cut to the chase misty. Do you really believe that SF asked if Gerry knew Murat because the PJ had encouraged her to in order link him and Murat? Really?

Yes. I think it was asked publicly for that very purpose.

So do I.  And it didn't half cause a kerfuffle.  Pages and pages of it.

"I'm not going to comment on that" Well that is one question Gerry didn't answer.  47 more to go to match Kate.

Ah, but there was/is a Portuguese agenda according to Clarence;

He told The Sun Online: “They want to make it clear that they are not making any money out of Madeleine’s disappearance. Any claims are spurious nonsense but fits in with the Portuguese agenda.”
