You are obfuscating.  No dead child has been found.
I am not obfuscating, and I did not state or imply a dead child had been found so your comment on that is not germane.

I was answering a point about Harrison's brief with a reply that Eddie and Keela were not deployed to find a living person.  Their expertise was in finding dead bodies.
What's up, old man?

Keela has no expertise in finding dead bodies
You are getting a lot wrong today

Why do you bother responding to my posts when I'm too f....ing dense to understand anything or even think clearly?
Anyway - what Davel said...  8(>((
You are the person who got closest.  After that you either could not go the Full Monty. or chose not to do so.

Your opinion and I don't see you as a very god judge after your ridiculous arguidodom claim

Why was this information even brought up then?  Explain.  Why wasn't she told the maximum sentence for sedating her children, manslaughter or murder or fraud or failing to cooperate with a police investigation (assuming all these are crimes in Portugal - but who knows, maybe they are not..?)
Is there a maximum sentence for sedating children?  They could hardly tell her what the sentence would be if she admitted to using Calpol, could they.

Presumably, Carlos, had a fair idea re manslaughter or murder.  Pretty useless if he didn't.

Fraud?  That would be a UK crime.

Failing to cooperate?  Did Kate fail to cooperate when she was a witness?

So nothing here is pertinent.

I literally have no idea what you're talking about - too dense, don't think enough, that's me.  8(0(*

Everything is pertinent.  As far as the police are concerned Kate could have been guilty of all of those crimes.  They decided to tempt her with the enticing offer of "only" two years in prison for admitting to hiding a body.  A deal in other words.  Presumably Carlos already had a fair idea of the sentence for body hiding, after all he is a Portugese lawyer, so your point above is...well....pointless.

A pertinent reminder.

Kate Mccann's  book is not gospel.

It is just a one sided and deeply biased version of events.

As far as I can remember the McCanns didn't say they were going to leave Portugal until after the arguidos interview
I also seem to remember that they had to have permission from the pj to leave
madeleine p228.  They had set a date of 10 Sep to leave.  Also in CdM.

They needed no permission to leave.  It seems they were required to inform the authorities if they were leaving, but it was not the case that the authorities could then decided whether that was OK or not.

Could you explain why the pj would be discussing sentences with the McCanns lawyer when they had no evidence against them
That is just ridiculous and there is absolutely no reason for it
Apart from offering a deal
Can you come up with a better reason

The lowest level of arguidodom you are making things up as you go along
Quite bizarre

As is the rest of your post

It's quite clear that the case against the McCanns was weak and we can all see that
That's why the offer was made and it's clear there was an offer
But first tell us about the levels of arguidodom. LOL
Wiki "The police may ask a court to restrict an arguido's movement and oblige them to not leave the country."

It's a shame your posts are repeatedly inaccurate and repeatedly goading.  It paints McCann supporters in a poor light and does not help the McCanns or Madeleine.

I'm well aware of this and it does not denote different levels of arguidodom as you claim
There are no different levels but keep up the good work of showing how poor your knowledge is

Keela has no expertise in finding dead bodies
You are getting a lot wrong today
So why deploy Keela?  Kindly enlighten us.  Was Keela deployed to find a live child?

Are you going to nit-pick on every occasion?

What point above?

The PJ seem to have taken a tack to ensure that Kate was informed by Carlos of a legal fact i.e. they chose not to merely hope that Carlos would do it, but tried to ensure it would happen.

Keela finds blood from both live and dead people
That's why she is deployed
Your lack of knowledge is astounding
