We could take a leaf out of the TAPAS parents and do and say nothing!...strange that silence all these years.
What;s strange about it?  What would be "not strange" in your view?  Interviews in womens' magazines or the tabloids?  Writing a book?  But of course that wouldn't be strange, that would be "cashing in" so would be equally up for criticism.

That would be revealing though.  It would be similar to Peter Hyatt's technique of saying "sit down and tell us what happened in your own words".

Or do you know what you were doing the day Kennedy died?  That type of thing... but then they couldn't remember much it was... erm um you know... you know.. pppft well long time ago.

What is strange about it is people who were NOT present had a lot to say,  grandparents uncles and auntie phil, all giving us an account, but none from those were there...Publiciy shy or fearful of arrest and losing their children on return to the UK from the Social Services? who knows. Silence is golden they say.  Mind you if any of their kids want to mkae a few bob they could sell their story.

Dignified.  Respectful.  A desire not to be seen to be cashing in in any way in their friends' tragedy.  Good for them I say.

Coy, secretive, giving a varied account of what happened, bad memory being one of them, although none as we know have been diagnosed with Dementia.  They don't have to take the money. It all happened a long time ago...

So your agrument is the McCann family are brash, too forward, forcefull, money grabbers. Yes many would agree with that Alfie.

Hmm.  Yes, because theMcCann family have hardly been off the telly in the last ten years, and their double page spreads in Hello and OK are numerous enough to wallpaper most average sized houses.

Spot on again as usual Mistaken!

Have I not told you 20 zillion times to stop exagerating?   8**8:/:

They were indeed on the telly and in magazines, all over the world even though they were not celebs before their daughter disappeared. Find Maddie in OZ, USA, Europe.. ppft lol The Pope, Operah. Politial enquiries to which they had absolutely NO connection to, Pontificating about new laws to protect the guilty, sorry to keep secrets out of the press.

Please run that bit past me again... about me being spot on.  The Tapas have said NOTHING at all to anyone since day one!

The only reason the 'Maddie is alive and comes to no harm' mantra is out there, is soley due to collect more money to pay off debts in my opinion. IF she were alive they would would be out there looking for her but then...

Your opinion is worth diddly squat in my opinion.

Thank you for your feed back.

My opinion was offered not to you specifically, so don't take it so peorsonally, it would be helpful if  you  stopped being offended on behalf of the McCanns, it is coming across as being quite pathetic. SInce they don't know you. or do they? hahaha

I wasn't offended on behalf of the McCanns - if you recall this exchange commenced with me challenging your view that it was strange that the McCanns' friends had not spoken to the media.  Why is it impossible to have a discussion with you without having to put up with your insults as "haa haa" goading?  Serious question.

Personally, I'd rather buy a book of actual quality.

If you want to waste your money, feel free.
I fancy that the advance exceeded actual sales, so it is unlikely that your offering will get as far as the McCann coffers.
Better to send it direct, preferably in a brown envelope

Perhaps you need some exercises in comprehension.
