i also  think  refrences to amaral not understanding  evidence etc should be  banned  from this forum he was an police officer he understands more then  anyone on this forum  what was  going on in portugal at that time   just  imo

Kill the debate altogether, why don't you.

I think it might have been dudes on forums who fathomed, long before Amaral, that Eddie alerted to spots of Gerry's blood on the ignition key of the Renault Scenic.

That scarcely put Amaral off his stroke, though ....

Being allowed to post that there is no evidence of abduction appears to be permitted yet that is also an unproven fact. Very biased.
As none of us actually know what evidence there is or isn't & discussion about abduction must now be accompanied by a million disclaimers, or the red pen will be produced, what the heck is the point of a discussion forum????

Nothing biased about it, the very simple reason we never hear about any evidence of apartment abduction is because there isn't any imo.  As you very well know there were no valuables stolen, no witnesses and no forensics which could support an intruder abduction.  You might not like it but those are the facts.

Amaral has shown he does not understand the evidence...he does not understand the dog alerts

But Rowley  SEEMS  to believe there is. In my opinion of course.

What do you reckon?

Should we start a thread debating the proposition that Amaral understood the forensic result from the boot of the Renault hire-car, but Stuart Prior didn't?

Would that be in the same way, that you don't understand that there is no evidence of abduction, above any other of the scenarios.

i think as long as posters     dont state it as  fact ie maddie  WAS   abducted   and  say instead  they  THINK  maddie  was  abducted etc its fine its all in context

#then you should object to amaral saying she died in an accident

In your opinion or do you know for a FACT what he has found or is it your OPINION  that "he has found nothing"

As long as it is an opinion it is welcome. The bit most supporters fail to understand is that Amaral was there on the ground, as Coordinator he oversaw everything and could see for himself how people were behaving when being questioned.  Despite people claiming he never met the McCanns he was able to observe them and recounted several observations in his book.

Absolute rollocks and you know it. Even her bed appeared as if she had never slept in it that night.  It would be the first abductor in history to make up the bed after stealing the child.
