This man's offence has no relevance to anyone other than himself and his family; the fact you wish to "discuss" otherwise proves exactly your intent in bringing this particular thread to the forum.

You seem unable to grasp that he made his offence relevant by campaigning, blogging and posting about the disappearance of Madeleine McCann while, at the same time, committing the offences he was sentenced for.

I saw no similar reminder of 'family business' when the state of Goncalo Amaral's marriage and his relationship with his children were discussed.

OH NO !!!  I had no idea the children's photographs were exposed on the net.  Whoever is responsible for that is in my opinion every single bit as bad as anything he has admitted to.

I seem to recall his daughter wrote/coauthored a book. There seems some publicity photos of her.

I don't think there's more of it, just a greater willingness to search for it and prosecute the offenders. This has become easier using technology.
