I don't think so,  the layout of the apartment is exactly the same as it was in 2007, but the exterior of the apartment has changed.  The front door exterior of the property has all been bricked in, so you can't see into the patio area where the front door was.
True.  It is your understanding that I'm claiming is totally wrong.  Look at a floor plan of the apartment.

Very basic plan.

The apartment looked nothing like this on the night in other words! Where have all the trees gone?

The exterior used to look like this.

That is the kitchen window. The children's bedroom window is opposite the car park next to the Oldfield's bedroom window.
The pointer was toward the lounge window IMO.

The exterior used to look like this.

Do you see the #1 on the floor plan?  That is the kid's bedroom window.

Nobody is disputing that, but the window you indicate is in fact the lounge ( I mistakenly thought it was the kitchen)
How do you think someone could gain access to that window?

Yes that's the car park in front of the window and parked vehicles do not obstruct the view of the window from checkers.

Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

Yes that's the car park in front of the window.
So we can be certain there was no vegetation adjacent to the bedroom window on the night.  But around the light at a car park entrance there was a tree.
Also there were trees along the car park wall (West side).

Yes there would have been light in that car park from that street lamp.

Front door to me means front door, usually the first door to the dwelling.

Yes It seems I have got the layout of the property very wrong,  sorry about that Folks.

No. Post 194 shows a lot of foliage in May 2007

It will take a bit of time to readjust your thoughts now that you realise you were a little confused.

Yes, I'm feeling a little bit silly now, thanks for trying to save my embarrassment.
