Richard and Sonia Mccann (Wilma's chilrent, 2 of 4) did a programme about the children the ripper left behind. It was quite sad. Sonia Mccann committed suicide in December 2007, she never got over the death of her mother and had alcohol problems for years.

Recently, the son of another of Peter Sutcliffe was on Loook North asking for information about his mother, Irene Richardson.

You are spot on Joanne.  The families continue to suffer for a generation. In Bambers case he wiped out his own family completely but the cousins have had their names dragged through the mud for over 25 years.  You would think it was a crime to inherit according to some deluded people.
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

Thank you for posting those links.  I must admit I haven't seen them previously but it just goes to show the damage these monsters exercise on those who are left behind.  Can you just imagine letting these people out of prison.  What other untold damage are they capable of...it is horrendous.

I can understand why both Julie Mugford and David Boutflour made mention that Bamber was capable of anything even now and must never be released.  I must say I can see the logic in this given what has happened to others.

God forbid mate!!!!

Bamber is a cold calculating killer and I don't think the passage of time will ever change that.  Once a killer always a killer they say!!!

Jimmy savile is now being linked to the Yorkshire Ripper's third victim, irene Richardson, who was found murdered in Roundhay Park near to where savile lived.

savile worked at Broadmoor voluntarily and had the keys so he could come and go as he pleased, savile befriended the Ripper who is a patient at the hospital.

I should have added that Savile is being suspected by some, of helping the Ripper in some way with this murder, either covering up for him or actualy taking part in it!! Experts have said that Savile would have looked at even more ways to get his "kicks" including murder.

If i understood it correctly ... Wilma Mccann's daughter commited suicide at the thought and prospect of actually outliving her mother
