With This Government Are We Seeing the Death of Truth.
« on: June 28, 2020, 05:19:56 PM »
Again in PMQs we saw an always brilliant Starmer hold Johnson to account over the dishonest claims the prime minister has made over the last weeks. Johnson however doubled down on his lies even though he his breaking his own government’s ministerial code.

And it’s not just Johnson. His ministers lied again and again about the true number of deaths due to Covid and stood shoulder to shoulder with Cummings when he was, at the very least, dishonest about his trip to Barnard Castle.

Doesn’t being able to believe our government matter anymore ? Are we so far down this particular rabbit hole that we’ve become immune to being treated with utter contempt by Johnson and his cabinet of chaos ?

I’d like to know what Faithlilly’s link has got to do with the current Tory government, any ideas?

“To see Labour accusing the PM (who didn’t nominate her) of ignoring her views on the actions of the IRA In Warrington has the greatest of all ironies – they seem to have a selected memory loss! Just 6 months ago they stood alongside their leader Jeremy Corbyn, campaigning for him to be Prime Minister. Just so we’re clear that’s the same Jeremy Corbyn who has given numerous interviews in which he has been challenged to condemn the IRA’s campaign of violence unequivocally – without equating it to other parties involved in the conflict – and has declined to do so”.

Can Johnson sink any lower ?

Really faith....
BJ said he cannot talk to those who are taking legal action, as you know it would be inappropriate  for him to get involved as it could be unfair.

When oh when will you ever learn never to believe a word Johnson says.

First he said on live television that he would meet the families of the Covid victims.

“ Last Wednesday, Johnson told Sky News: “I am not aware of those letters but I will of course write back to every letter we get.

“Of course I will meet the bereaved.”

Then he refused. Why ? Out of embarrassment? Who knows but it certainly wasn’t due to impending legal action.

What a load of tosh!

xR  were preventing stories being relayed to the UK public- THAT is a human rights issue.  They got upset and demanded that climate change be discussed every day in alarmist tone.  and they complain about freedom of press being denied by the government.?  WTF
