UK and North American politics. > A look at British politics in the light of the decision to leave the EU.

A level playing field?

(1/2) > >>

G-Unit:
The EU were concerned about securing a level playing field in their dealings with the UK post Brexit, but are they playing fair? It seems that they're prepared to interfere in business contracts to serve the interests of it's citizens;

In response to the delays, the EU has said it might restrict exports of vaccines made in the bloc.

I've found it fun too. Membership of the EU was presented as if it was the best thing since sliced bread, but I'm very grateful that the UK was able to organise it's own deals to buy vaccine. Our government was able to act much quicker than those of the EU member states who had to wait for the EU bureaucracy to creak into place. Their reaction to our government's foresight and speed of action was disgraceful imo.
