Shannon Matthews was found at Craig Meehans uncles flat (Paul Donovan), in the bed base. Karen Matthews has recently been released. Craig did time for downloading child porn I think.
I read the book about the case, a psychic told Karen she (Shannon) was with someone she knew, so tried to keep the visit to the psychic quiet. It wasn't a 'good' book in that the kids weren't very well cared for, anyway back to Tia- it doesn't look like there's any news as yet.

There would appear to be some development in this case as twenty police officers have descended on the grandmother's home in order to look for clues of anything untoward.  I only hope that this won't have a bad ending but it doesn't look good.  A young girl just doesn't disappear in broad daylight from a London suburb with all the CCTV that exists these days.

I know this sounds bad and go against all I spout but it all went king kong for me when they mentioned the nans 37 year old boyfriend because it doesn't sit right with me. I don't know if he's been messing with her and she's threatened to grass him up (which she should do) or she's back chatted him and he's hit her, I don't know. It''s just not right somehow.
I would so love to be proved wrong and I hope I am.

I think we all have had such suspicions .... let's hope she is found alive but I wouldn't hold my breath good news.

A body has been found in the Nans house. It looks like it may be the boyfriend but it's breaking.

I told you so!

I hate being right on these occasions but the signs were there.

First mistake...the police should have searched the house properly at the beginning and not left it for a week..

I don't get it; 2 or 3 days ago police entered the house with police dogs and yet only today is the body found. If they are going to appear to be searching the house they should bloody well do so and do it right. Now they look like idiots!!
I am very pro police but I am afriad this reflects very badly on them!

I've just had the same conversation with the neigbour-where's the body been? I mean a week, surely if she's in the house she's going to decompose and the smell asociated (that sounds really disrespectful, I'm sorry Tia), it sounds similar to the death of Rachel Moran in Hull.

Depressingly predictable.  Bless her heart.

The alarm bells went off for me when I read that the boyfriend was with her Mum before je was with her Nan.  There's a certain type of man who likes to stick around vulnerable women who have kids, and will do anything to maintain the control they jave in the family.  I hope I'm wrong.

My guess? Sadly, I do not think you are wrong.
It also went king kong (as Joanne so nicely put it!) for me when I heard that the boyfriend who is dating granny had been dating the daughter. A "boundary thing" which is not in place. Didn´t like to say it though, didn´t want to defame a possibly innocent man. Now it looks like I thought it would turn out. Granny must be on the weird side too to date her daughter´s ex.
It is so sad, a little girl dead for NO REASON AT ALL because of some idiot perv.
R.I.P. little Tia.

The very saddest news. No words for this, really.
