Kate told Irish TV.....

"The shutter was up & the window was open. I'm not lying about that".

(Late Show, Dublin, 2011)
Well, Vertigo says the abductor may have opened the window for an emergency exit incase someone entered the flat before they left by one of the doors, Spam!
Kind of makes sense I suppose, if confronted, drop the child and leap out of the window?

I don't think Gerry left his wallet in the apartment. He didn't mind leaving his 3 children unattended but he made sure to take care of his wallet anyway.

Why would he have needed to take his wallet with him when extras were charged to room via club card?

No, just one abductor, who enters via the unlocked patio doors (making sure to shut them behind him so that he will hear if someone enters after him), he may have entered intent on stealing valuables only or he may have gone with deliberate intent on taking a child, he goes throught to the back bedroom to open window in case he needs to make a quick exit (typical burglar tactic), sees Madeleine, decides to take her, tries the front door, opens it, removes child from bed, leaves via front door closing it behind him, walks back to his vehicle, drives off into the lawless hinterland, abuses and murders child, throws body down a well or buries it.  Perfectly plausible and logical scenario.  No need for conspiracies or plots, or the moving of a body twice or being in two places at the same time, no need to disregard 99% of all witness statements only relying on the least reliable.

All in your imagination. Me. I look for actual clues. And there's a sighting of a man resembling Gerry. He had trousers similar to a pair Gerry owned. He was seen uncomfortably carrying a child closely matching Madeleine?s description. This sighting has never been explained & so Brueckner's defence team can have fun pointing out this exculpatory evidence in the forthcoming trial for Madeleine's abduction & murder that's never happening.

You're overthinking. If the only items stolen had been passports, cameras, credit cards and valuables nobody would be questioning the minutiae.  This wasn't like stealing ?88m worth of jewels from the Apollo Gallery.

Abductors & possibly extra abductors faffing around with doors & windows. Testing the plausibility of various entrance & exit scenarios. Abductors drugging Madeleine & passing her out of the window. Waiting getaway drivers. The possibilities are endless if you fantasise hard enough.

What made the window and shutter in 5A front bedroom any different to those in apartments nearby which had been burgled and the window had been the point of access?

It looks like chair and cot moved for access to window. page 969

These were took straight after if you look at page 971

the pics with chair were already took

What they interfered  with the crime scene?   That's what you said when I suggested the photographer moved the bed.
