"Muslim MP, Nusrat Ghani, was sacked for breaking the Ministerial Code and misleading Parliament. Two years later she claimed she was sacked because of Islamophobia."
Now that she is appointed as Minister of State at BEIS by Liz Truss, will she call for further investigation of Tory Islamophobia? Or the inquiry is just a racist card for her to get the position?

Apparently her Muslimness was making other Tory MPs uncomfortable whatever that means.

Johnson was only put in number 10 to get BREXIT done. He was always expendable, the method of his removal evidences this.

Why was no one else capable of getting Brexit done apart from that bumbling idiot?

No-one else was capable of attracting the numbers at that moment in time. Theresa May lost the support of too many to be able to carry on, she just didn't have the backing she needed to get BREXIT done.

The irony of course is he didn’t get Brexit done at all, at least not the version of it he sold to the nation.

That is very true but at least he got it started which is something his predecessors couldn't manage. It is now up to Truss to get the job finished if she is capable.

It’s basically undeliverable John.  Brexit is anti-growth and until politicians face up to that fact and all the while they continue to pursue economic growth there will always be that conflict of interest, not a good position for the country at all.

India has just overtaken Britain in the GDP rankings. Brexit is a complete distraction, the EU is as screwed as Britain. Germany can't buy Russian gas anymore, which is going to deindustrialise the country. What will that do to their economy?
The emerging world economies such as India, Brazil, South Africa along with the likes of Iran, Saudi Arabia & others, Turkey included, which combined have a significantly larger share of the worlds population than the EU combined, they are all pivoting to Asia. They are actively de-dollarizing. China is building trade routes, Russia are diverting their gas pipes to the global south. There's two things Britain can do to stop from being dragged down by the decline of the U.S dollar hegemony, & that is to switch alliances or take a neutral stance toward the BRICS countries. Not going to happen. Doesn't matter which party you vote for. We are locked into the U.S/EU path, regardless of Brexit. It's a path, through our rejection of all things Russian/Chinese/Iranian & slavishly supporting Ukraine, that leads to very high energy prices & massive inflation, as we are finding out.
I stand with Putin. Glory to Mother Putin.
