But one thing puzzles me -who are the criminals employed by Metodo 3? - an extremely  serious allegation  A cite would be useful.

Metodo3 employees have criminal convictions, as I am sure you are aware.

Sorry Stephen, you will have to help me on this.  Unless you mean  "Antonio Giménez Raso"?

Could you give a clue as to which Metodo 3 employees have criminal convictions?

I am aware of him.

Another name from memory was Francisco Marco.

I also remember several other employees being arrested and the company closed down.

Marco- yes, the head of Metodo 3

You claimed that they had criminal convictions.

Perhaps you would care to back it up?

Well that kind of does back it up!...I wonder why all the PI's employed by the fund were never sued by the McCANNS for being 'incompetent' bet they munched a few sardines! AND will they sue and slagg off SY for squandering millions and not even getting anywhere?

The Australian claim is interesting- did Kate go to Australia? on TV? Why would SY be clutching at straws asking Australians to check if it is Maddie? nothing else happening I suppose.

Try not to gloat, Stephen - it is so terribly unbecoming.

I did try to warn you, gently, to be careful of your "sauces". (Citing Morais and Pat Brown......?)

Raso was acquitted by the equivalent of the Supreme Court in Barcelona on the 23rd July 2012.

http://www.elperiodico.com/es/noticias/sociedad/audiencia-barcelona-absuelve-guardias-civiles-policia-corrupcion-2127141

As this is in Spanish,I have translated the relevant bit for you "The Court has acquitted the civil guards Antonio Sáenz Martínez, alias El Tete (who was in pre-trial detention for 18 months); Robert de Prádena Castelló, Cristobal Lucas, Miguel Angel Higuera de la Fuente, Jesus Javier Martín Calvo, Fernando Gutiérrez Valero and Fernando Gutiérrez Alarcón. Also exonerated was Antonio Giménez Raso (his brother was already removed from the process)."

The Metodo 3 case (under which Marco and others were arrested) has been closed by the Barcelona Court (December 2013)

http://www.catalannewsagency.com/politics/item/metodo-3-political-espionage-case-affecting-the-catalan-pp-leader-is-closed

Now, to answer your question - Metodo 3 was closed down primarily because they got involved in the crossfire between the three major Catalan political parties and because of the arrest and detention of the principles.  Also pay disputes with former employees.

I wasn't gloating JP.

Unfortunately I don't speak Spanish, but can you provide the link, as I know someone who can ?

On what grounds were they acquitted ?

Why was the metodo3 case closed ?

and their closure was nothing to do with their incompetence and lies ?

Would you have employed metodo3 ?

and merely because people are acquitted, doesn't mean they didn't  commit crimes.

I'm sure you agree on that.

Can you remind us Why these people were arrested in the first place ?

P.S.   JP.

Any comments on the second link I provided about the history of mccanns employing incompetent people, including crooks of course.

Just because people are Acquitted doesn't mean they didn't commit crimes.

And just because they are found Guilty doesn't mean they are.

Where do we go from here?

Link already provided Stephen, if you look, but here it is again

On what grounds were they acquitted ?  Prosecution failed to make a case.

Why was the metodo3 case closed ?  Again, I provided a link (in English) which explains it in great detail  .   Good luck with the names!

http://www.catalannewsagency.com/politics/item/metodo-3-political-espionage-case-affecting-the-catalan-pp-leader-is-closed

and their closure was nothing to do with their incompetence and lies ? Who knows - by this time Metodo 3 had ceased detective work and were not involved in "research" which clearly covers a multitude of sins.

Would you have employed metodo3 ?  Personally, no because I cannot see any circumstances in which I would need their kind of services.  But if I did, then yes, maybe.

and merely because people are acquitted, doesn't mean they didn't  commit crimes.  Of course, (and from what I know about Raso he and his brethren were not exactly in the George Dixon mould).

But it was you who made a claim that they were convicted criminals.   I am merely pointing out that you were mistaken.

Just seen your PS

Answer - First of all, Madeleine Foundation?  That's a source right up there with Pat Brown and Morais!

Which ones referred to in that article are "crooks"?  Halligen?  When was he employed by the Mccanns? When was he conviced?

Sorry Stephen - I think the phrase "when in a hole, stop digging" applies to you here.

Bennett's research....

When did this 18-year sentence happen?

Gimenez spent time on remand, but was totally exonerated.

También exclupa* totalmente al policía nacional Antonio Giménez Raso (su hermano ya fue sacado del proceso).
