Where is Eleanor?

I am worried about Elli.   She didn't sound too good last time that I private messaged her, but she promised to be in touch.

Over 3 months on, I haven't heard from her.   I was excluded from forum for much of that period but a private message would stand, i think ... and nothing there.   Nor any response to my recent private message.


Anyone got any news?

Eleanor sent me an email on 19th June to say she couldn't log in here when it reappeared and suggested it could be her French IP that was the problem, so she was reading Websleuths re. the alleged Ozzy mushroom poisoner for interest instead.  Maybe she was frustrated by the extra hoops/questions you have to go through to log on again. Her blog has run to seed too, so no longer posts there.

We all promise to keep in touch, yet put it off repeatedly unfortunately.

Eleanor and I were both unable to log onto the forum for weeks (funny how this only seemed to affect those who think Madeleine was abducted, probably just another of those coincidences though) but I messaged her on the 20th June when I discovered a way of getting back on.  She didn’t reply however.  Of course this will greatly delight some on here I suspect…

Question: would you still post here if it was just you, Jassi and the WonderfulWum? Like if me, Sadie, Myster and Lace disappeared forever would that be a good thing or a bad thing for you wrt to the kick you get out of posting on here?

I'd take over, then berate all new members into disclosing whether they have read Bellend Stellander's book. Then ban them until they agree with everything in it. Then ban them again.

As to Eleanor, from a ropey start she and I managed to form a firm friendship in which our views in the case played no part. I hope she is okay and it is simply connection problems.

But Eleanor is still unable to log on and I can only do so if I don’t use my home IP which leads me to believe that my home IP had been blocked either deliberately or inadvertently.  I have tried rebooting, clearing cookies, everything.  Does John care either way?  Seemingly not!

Sorry, Sadie, but I haven't the foggiest idea what your talking about, I haven't looked into the Mccann case on here.
Anyone commenting on the forum being down just presumed it was technical difficulties or security issues!

Are you sure that you believe John still runs this forum?   Myster seems very powerful ... I kinda wonder that maybe he runs the forum now?   Maybe John or Myster will confirm.

I will not reveal it, but I have an email address for John and if you wish could copy and paste a message to him so long as he doesn't respond to these latest posts.   I say that I have his addie, but my computer has been seriously messed with and I have lost most of my addies.   Someone desperately wants to shut me up.

Several years ago, when I was younger, active and quite controversial, I was excluded for a long time from forum.    I tried everything I could.   John put it right for me.   Also when Redblossom kept insulting me (and my long dead parents fgs), David Cameron put a stop to it

I've absolutely nothing to do with running the forum or would ever want to, and wouldn't have a clue where to start anyway.  Why do you think I keep complaining about its lax logging-on security/unsecure padlock URL?
