MCMINUTE: Sky News: FULL and PARTIAL DNA match in McCann's car!

This video lasts 49 seconds without counting the self-promotional lead in and lead out.

It contains one fundamental error of fact. There was no full match to the DNA found in the car.

But it is appalling for a different reason.

This video was uploaded on 19th of August 2012 a full four years after the case was archived and the Attorney General of Portugal said that there was no evidence of any crime by the McCanns.

Notwithstanding that clear and undisputable fact, Hideho in this video is stating through the words of the presenter that the DNA evidence "could provide a major breakthrough". No it could not. It has been examined and found not to be a breakthrough at all.

She continues the video with "the traces could be used as evidence against her parents." which having read the files as she claims including the AG report she knows is and was when she uploaded the video in 2012, a complete lie.

And the video goes on to hound the parents of Madeleine by ending with this, "They will be very worried because this is crucial evidence which implicates them being with Madeleine 25 days after she's disappeared."

I find it disgraceful that Hidheho has deliberately spent time seeking such news media reports from 2007 and has rehashed them in 2012 when she knows they are outdated and do not reflect the current situation. I can think of no decent reason why anyone would do such a thing when it clearly damages the search for the missing child, Madeleine McCann

MCMINUTE: McCanns need to maintain an ILLUSION in Britain

An exceptionally boring video in which the background alternates between a silent presenter and a nodding Goncalo Amaral while they listen to Duarte Levy talking to them by phone.

He says;

"Two things are certain, before anything else. The McCanns have a desire to continue the campaign for some reason that is not apparently obvious at first sight."

Pardon? What planet is Levy living on? Does he not know that the McCanns daughter is still missing? Does he think they should just give up the campaign and abandon her?

Levy goes on to to talk about the people of the UK not having understood the case till Amaral's book and documentary were released including this gem.

"Mainly to the British citizens who have little access to the information in their country. They were able to watch the documentary with English subtitles and finally were able to understand things that until now they weren't able to understand."

Finally he leaves us with,

"I believe that they try to maintain, try to maintain especially inside England, they try to maintain the illusion that they are still searching for their daughter. Because if they don't do it, they might never reach a court, but in the public opinion they have already been judged and condemned."

So this video is designed to plug the idea that the McCanns have no reason to be campaigning, that till Amaral published we in the UK knew nothing about the case and that Levy believes that the McCanns are only pretending to be looking for their daughter while the public think they are guilty.

Thanks Hideho for those insights from a man who cannot even understand that two parents will never give up on the search for their missing daughter. What a cracking journalist he is then!

McMinute - Gerry asked "Did you kill your daughter?"

First minute of the 1:29 video is taken up with Gerry and Kate answering the question "Did you kill your daughter?"

Their answers to such an emotionally upsetting question about their missing daughter are clear, emphatic that they did not. They point out that such a thing is difficult to imagine because of the difficulties involved and that the idea is ludicrous because it would mean that they decided having already found a hiding place that was effective, five weeks later to move her body.

0:59 Screen changes to black with overwritten,

"From the
OFFICIAL POLICE FILES
Forensic photos showing CADAVER
dog alerts in McCann's apartment
and Rental car.

DNA was found behind the sofa and
in the rental car and forensic
examinations do not exclude it
belonging to Madeleine"

Then there are a couple of screens with very tiny photos from the police files.

So Hideho is proud of this video?

She is proud that she is using the fact that the forensic examinations do not exclude it having been Madeleine's DNA to further attack the parents of Madeleine?

She is proudly burying her head in the sand and ignoring a few rather significant details though.

Such as the fact that the DNA could easily relate to Kate McCann or Amelie McCann and other family members, indeed that the results do not rule out the DNA belonging to half the population of Europe.

Such as the fact that this DNA evidence has four years before she uploaded this video been shown not to be evidential against the McCanns.

This video is not simply asking questions of the McCanns.

It is, by twisting the original quotation from the forensic report, implying that the answers given by the McCanns in the early part of the video are simply lies, that they did transport their daughter's body in that rental car, even though Hideho knows that there is no evidence which actually makes that connection.

She even chooses to mock the McCanns in that final section with Fuel's song "We were Innocent". I wonder does he know his music is being used in this way?
